Bought these for a kindergarten school sand dig as treasure. They worked great and kept the kids busy for a while digging for treasure. Durable, colorful, not messy at all. Good quality for price.

Not a terrible set but you donât get as many rocks as you expect.
It says it comes with over 200 specimens and while I guess thatâs technically true most are smaller than a green pea. You will get maybe 10 larger ones the size of a large marble and another 20 or so about the size of a normal marble the rest are small. Over 1/2 are so small I would say itâs almost like pebbly sand so not really what I was expecting. One of the geodes is tiny as well and 1/2 broken. You do get 3 shark teeth and a pretty near book talking about all the different types of specimens in the box. Overall itâs not terrible for the price I paid as it was on sale but just donât buy expecting to get a larger number or rocks which is what my kiddo was wanting. Yellow marble from a marble works for reference in pictures.

Nieces love the set!
I got it for a niece’s birthday and she was completely engrossed in all the gems and fossils, from the biggest ones to the tiniest ones. Her younger sister made a tray for herself to dig through. The guide and book are fantastic as well – very educational and easy to follow. We had a blast learning about all the different gems and fossils inside and already have a geode-smashing date set up 🙂

I bought it for me, not for a kid and its very worth it. Very good quality, great packaging to make sure nothing gets damaged, very good variety! If you donât like very small pieces, I suggest you donât buy since there is about 200 mini rocks. I find the texture very fun! Its also a very good price considering the big crystal rocks at a store could be 5$ each but for 35$ you get a bunch! I love it (I will probably get it again for different pieces):)

Wirklich ein Klasse Mineral Set, habe es nicht für meine Kinder sondern für mich selbst gekauft und bin für den Preis überwältigt.
Edelsteine in drei GröÃen von Mini bis GroÃ,aber wundervollen Qualität und Fossilien die mich vom Hocker hauen.
Habe ein vergleichbares No Name Produkt gekauft und darin warin nur schlecht geschnittene Restteile und die Fossilien so klein das man fast ein Mikroskop bräuchte.
Aber dieses Produkt ist wirklich angemessen und die Erklärungen sind auch toll.
Zwei Geoden zusätzlich zu den wunderschönen Steinen und den Klasse Fossilien.

Ich habe selber noch viel gewaschen und geschliffen um zu erkennen was es sein soll.
Teilweise war wirklich sehr viel härtere Sand dran, so das meine Kinder das nicht zuordnen konnten.

Great size. Provides lots of different types. Great for a new collector. My daughter absolutely loves it! Has a little book explaining the different types too. Couldnât recommend enough for someone who is getting into rocks, gems and fossils.
