Crush and easily consume these
Actual size: 13/16″ x 3/8″ (at the widest). Not a polished surface, tiny bit chalky making harder to swallow but that’s a plus for crushing them:Very little taste. Nothing bitter. Barely can taste anything. Nothing lingers at all. Easy to crush.Set one on a plate or hard clean surface, holding between thumb and forefinger. Gently saw it in to 10 pieces or so with a serrated paring knife. Some will powderize which is fine.Place the chunks and powder in to a tablespoon sized dinner spoon. Place another matching spoon over. Grind the two spoons together slowly and firmly 2-3 times, you now have near powder. Crushes fairly easily.Drink water and swallow. Scoop up in to mouth the whole thing from the spoon. Swallow with more water.This works really well. Dissolves when the water hits it and is easy to swallow quite a bit of powder with the water chaser. Also hits your stomach ground up and can only help with digestion and no worries of getting stuck sideways.To me these are a bit too big to swallow consistently without issues but that is just me. Next time I’ll buy the 500 mg but at least they avoided the garbage.You could also grind say 30 in a grinder and set up a whole month by knowing what a dose is. Looks to be maybe 1 teaspoon ground = 1000mg. Might be worth it for the quick assimilation, easy swallowing and individualized doses.Here’s to our health!

Only complaint is that the pills are huge. But I haven’t found any L-Lysiene that is smaller so oh well. I like this brand, best value for the money and clean ingredients.

I was a bit disappointed to see the size of these tablets. They are maybe the biggest tablets I have ever taken. The expiry date is long which is great! I heard there’s a lot of benefits with these tablets, but also scary side effects. Maybe check with your GP first before taking it. I like the lid isn’t twist top but flips open. As I’ve only started taking it, I can’t exactly report on the success of it yet.
