It all began in 1994, with our rescue white lab, Winston, who was diagnosed with arthritis and hip dysplasia. Several vets recommended putting him down, but this was never an option for us.

It really worked
I gave him 1/4 first to see how strong it was but it did not work. The second day I gave him 1/2 the tablet 30 min before going to bed and he immediately fell asleep.he is about 10 lb and a 3 month old puppy.But today he woke up vomiting a little bit Iâm not sure if itâs because of that but I will keep an eye on him just to make sure itâs because of the tablets

Love this product
Works great. I give it to my dog when we go on any road trips. Before using this product, he was panting heavily, shaking and eventually vomiting. After trying this product what a big change. Car rides are more enjoyable for both of us. It does not sedate him, but just make him more calm where he lays down comfortably and enjoys the journey. Has not side effects and does not take away any of his energy to run and play after a car ride.

They work really well
These calming chewables for dogs really seem to do the job “of calming my hyper dog down” easy to use. They keep him calm for a long time. The bottle is tough, no leaks or breaks. He seems to digest them just fine. Just wish they were a bit cheaper so I could buy more at a time.

Depends on the Dog
We bought this to help our Smores (a tricolor Australian Shepherd Cattle Dog mix) when there is thunder/lightning/fireworks. She does not do well when these things happen and sometimes her thunder vest needs some additional help, hence the calming treats. Her (adoptive) brother Jax is a pure breed border collie with ever single recessive DNA trait and is insane.To make sure they are both loved and supported, when one gets a calming treat, the other does as well.The calming treats help Smores and she is able to sleep. The calming treats do absolutely nothing to Jax. They do nothing for him, so much so, that Jax got them off the countertop while we were out. I had just opened the bottle 2 days prior and there was 68 treats left. Jax ate all 68 treats and other than being incredibly thirsty and with some dilated eyes, he was still insane – although he did sleep in 1 hour later than usual.So the treats work on the does absolutely nothing wrong ever dog, but not on the absolutely crazy ones.

PLEASE BUY THIS!!!! I wrote such a long detailed review and when I went to take a picture of my dog my review disappeared ,too much to rewrite! I have a very hyper,agile,alert,smart,barking dog. I honestly canât tell you in almost 8 years when he sleeps!!!! Iâm old(45),his mom is old(almost 20) and we need some safe peace around here ð¤£ð¤£ðð!! Iâve spent so much money looking for something that would have this effect on him. This is the only thing that has worked,yes it works people ðð¾!! I tossed two on his bed after they had breakfast. He sniffed them for about 15 minutes which made me nervous,they donât smell the best! He ate them!! Iâve never been able to get anything done without having to fuss at him to stay out the way or stop bothering stuff and stop barking,he barks at usâ¦.the only family he has ever known! If I drop my phone in front of him heâll bark at me! His job is to watch me,he employed himself this position ð! Whenever I get up in the middle of the night,whenever I take a peep over my bed he is looking back! ð¤·ð½ââï¸ heâs the only fur baby Iâve had with this behavior,but we love him!! Two hours later he is crashed out on his bed with all fours up,thatâs how heâs comfortable I guess. Always lay like this,just never closes his eyes ð! Iâm able to do some house chores on my day off without him being my shadow. I am so happy! The whole house is happy! Update:he caught on ð¤£ð¤£ Thatâs okay because I crumble them in his food now and mix it really well with the wet food. This stuff works!
Tried some others. But this stuff works. Wish I had a gallon of it. I have sea shell cute counter top fountain that is small and just pumps a little bit of water down a cascade of sea shells. I want to put this stuff in it to evaporate into the air which is easier than spraying into the air by hand. Truly, it works though. A dog in the neighborhood is in heat and this keeps my male dog calm, even if he whimpers when I pick the bottle up to spray a bit he immediately shuts up!!! Good stuff.

Helpful for anxious dog
These are great and help my dog sleep during scary storms or fireworks. But if I wait too long we won’t fall asleep so it’s a delicate balance of giving them to him.with enough time for them to kick in. Haven’t noticed any digestion problems and he likes how they taste so they’re easy to give to him. They seem nice and chewy so he thinks it’s just a regular treat.

Tried them out on our 11lb. chihuahua and he mellowed out about an hour later. We only used half a pill and that worked. He wasnât so hyper during the car ride. Update: This dose stopped working even though we only use it once per week, so we upped it to 2 pills ( I wonât go any higher). Hopefully he will learn to relax on his own and then I can reduce the dose again.

I was alittle on the fence about this but I am going to say that I was so happy that I went ahead and ordered these for my Boy Diesel. He is almost 5 months old and he has a little bit of Separation Anxiety and his Crate!! I don’t know why he’s so feared about it but it’s coming along. Slowly he is warming up to his Safe Place. He has been in a board and Train Foundation for 2 weeks and I am going to say that he has been in the crate more than I put him in. I have to admit that I don’t put him in his crate when I am not going anywhere but I have been trying to make that happen for a while because we both need a time out!! He has me wrapped around his paw lol Highly Recommend these for all puppers that need some calming time.

Ich habe diese Beruhigungsleckerlies gekauft da unsere Hündin sehr oft nervös war anstatt sich zu entspannen. Das kleinste Geräusch oder eine Bewegung eines Astes oder Sonne und Wolkenwechsel und sie war auf 180. Das gute ist, dass diese Leckerlies natürlich sind und Melatonin enthalten. Es steht auch genau darauf wie man sie verwenden soll. Wenn ich merkte dass sie unruhig wurde oder sie Stress empfand und sie sich nicht mit Worten und beruhigenden Streicheln beruhigen wollte, gab ich ihr ein Leckerli. Am Anfang war Autofahren für sie Stressig, da gab ich ihr eines ca. eine halbe Stunde vorher. Meist war sie dann beruhigt. Sie ist jetzt generell viel entspannter auch ohne Leckerlies und so gebe ich ihr nur noch selten eines dieser Leckerlies.
