Supposed to Thicken hair.
I bought this to try, not impressed. Haven’t seen or felt thicker hair. Maybe with continued use will work. Expensive.

Have been using it for quite sometime. Did see some shredding in the beginning like they suggested but worked great after a while. Definitely will use for couple more months and hopeful to see lasting results.

For those saying this is not the real Nioxin, but from this supplier because what I got was the original stuff. Look at the bar code, if you receive a box that has the barcode covered up, then you donât have the real thing. This supplier is reputable from what I can see. No price difference between this seller and Ulta.

UPDATE: This has either stopped working, or my hormonal condition is worsening. I likely will not repurchase. So disappointed because it really seemed to be helping at first.Original review:Iâm am a female in my mid 30s dealing with a thyroid disorder and post-pill hair loss. My hair has been falling out in clumps for about a year now. Itâs so traumatic. My heart is with all of you going through it too.I have been trying different supplements, shampoos, and even rogaine for this last year while this was happening. None of it helped. Some actually seemed to make things worse!This is the first thing Iâve tried that gave me hope. I thought I was imagining the drastic results after one use. Typically, after showering, when I brush, the entire bottom of my brush is covered with hair. Again, traumatic. I hate it.However, after ONE shampoo, conditioner, and scalp treatment I only saw one or two strands in my brush! I thought I must be wrong – like- maybe I cleaned the brush already and forgot?However, the same thing happened the next day! I looked at my brush and MAYBE three strands!For further proof, I got home very late one night and just grabbed my typical drug store shampoo instead of doing the nioxon system. You guess it – full brush of hair returned. Full brush! I am astonished at the difference it makes.Since I just started using it, I canât testify to hair regrowth. But If this ONLY stops my hair loss, I will be the happiest person on earth.It actually doesnât take long to do the whole process. Shampoo, condition (leave it on for about 3 mins). And the scalp treatment. The scalp treatment doesnât feel like it needs to be too precise. (Unlike Rogaine) . It would take me so much time to separate my hair to get the rogaine to the exact right spots on my scalp. This is not like that. They say itâs fine (and good) if it gets in your hair too.The only downside for me is that my hair isnât – bouncy, full, nice. It leaves hair feeling a little sticky and â¦for lack of a better word..flexible. However, I can deal with that! I will take it! Iâd rather have my hair a little sticky than no hair at all.Iâm planning on coloring my hair soon, so I may get the color safe version when I do. I hope it works just as well.I know this isnât super affordable but itâs also not as expensive as other brands. Iâd urge you to give it a try if you can budget it! I am very happy and hopeful for the first time in over a year.Thank you Nioxin.

UPDATE 10-4-24: I am going to stop using this product. While it never did actually help to regrow any hair, my hair seemed to stop falling out for a short time. But no longer – hair loss in the shower, and tons of hair in styling brush. Not sure why…but I’ve stopped blow drying and styling my hair. And it has done nothing to strengthen my hair or make it “seem” fuller. I hate to go back to monoxidil as it leaves the roots of my hair feeling crunchy and very dry. Sigh…..June 2024: I just received this yesterday morning, so this is a preliminary review. The box contains the shampoo, conditioner and thickening treatment. The shampoo and conditioner are fine. Left my hair feeling clean, shiny and soft. But beware of the thickening treatment – mine is going in the trash! After applying it to my slightly damp hair, I tried to complete drying and styling using a hair dryer and a large round styling brush. OH, BROTHER! It was so hard to pull the brush through my hair, I thought I was going to pull my hair out! Very scary. And now, the next day, the hair within a few inches of my scalp feels very stiff and crunchy, Am going to wash my hair again to remove the “thickening” product. After I have used up all the shampoo & conditioner, I will update this review to assess whether it has helped to reduce the thinning of my hair

This product works
When I use the full package of product it works as advertised. The Nioxon system stops or significantly slows my progressive hair loss. It doesn’t grow new hair, but I bought it stop further loss as advertised. At first I didn’t use the scalp treatment, only the shampoo and conditioner with satisfactory results. I tried some other products and started progressively losing more hair again. I then bought the full Nioxon system again and decided to give the scalp treatment a try. Now I am having great results. My hair has stopped thinning. I highly recommend trying the three product system and see if you have the same results.

Lo compré durante la pandemia porque se me caÃa mucho el pelo, me ayudo a que no se me cayera tanto aunque no detuvo la caÃda por completo sà regreso mi cabello a su grosor normal y uno que otro cabello salio más grueso, en las entradas donde estaba perdiendo más pelo del normal pude recuperar mis baby hairs casi a la normalidad; el serum ayuda mucho, porque me lo ponÃa en la parte de enfrente donde no estaba perdiendo pelo sólo por curiosidad y me salieron baby hairs que hasta hoy, dos años después, aún conservo. Otro efecto inesperado que tuve fue que elimino durate su uso la caspa ligera que tenÃa, con muchos shampoos para caspa aunque me ayudaran a disminuirla no la eliminaban y en cuanto me rascaba un poco el pelo, se me desprendÃa un ligero polvillo blanco, con estos productos se elimino por completo y aunque me rascaba no se me desprendÃa nada, eso sà en cuanto deje de usarlo con el paso del tiempo la caspa volvió. Hago esta reseña dos años después porque aunque mi cabello no se cae tan mal como antes, sigo sufirendo de caspa aunque más ligera que antes, igual de molesta y que siento que me causa un caÃda mayor de pelo. Estoy pensado en volver a comprar el paquete y ver si me ayuda de nuevo a darle más vida a mi cabello
