Works exactly as advertised, durable, cheap
I trim my beard daily and cut my own hair monthly with this single, under-$25 item. I’ve done this for years, I never maintain or care for it, and it’s shown zero issues or signs of wear. You can shave with it — it gets a close enough shave to look presentable, but not so close it irritates sensitive skin. You can trim your beard and give yourself a fade haircut with it — it comes with enough different guard lengths for a presentable fade. And finally, it costs less than a single night out, and if your experience is like mine, it’ll last you years and years.

Lightweigth – works well so far
I have had various Norelco electric shavers over the years.
The first, and most sophisticated/expensive, was metal and had a lithium battery with status indicator light(s). It came with loads of features and attachments that I never used. It worked for a couple of years and then just stopped working or stopped charging. It did not work with the power cord connected.
The most recent one that failed was less fancy. It worked with or without he cord connected. It developed a fault in the push on-off button. It became intermittent and eventually would not turn on at all.
So this time I deliberately went with a cheap model with a mechanical slide on/off switch. It is very light, which is a nice change. It does not have a lithium battery but that has not been a problem. It has enough attachments for my purposes (a beard), and in any case all the attachments from my earlier Norelcos fit this one.
It seems to speed up and slow down on its own. Maybe that it a problem developing.
So far I like it and If it last 2 years I will be happy.

Great purchase, holds up over time
I’ve had this for years now and it still works great. Almost never needs to be charged for me, but I’m not an everyday user so maybe that will differ for others. But the battery life seems great. The only criticism I have with the product is that it would be nice if it had a battery % indicator light, or even just a light that is on when it charges. When you plug this in to be charged nothing tells you when it is finished charging. So I just always leave it on for a few hours and hope it’s finished.

Quality trimmer and a good price
We actually purchased this to trim our 17lb terrier between professional grooming sessions. My son and I use Norelco trimmers ourselves so we have good experience with the brand.
The trimmer works well, as expected. Our dog has hair, not fur, and trimmer is sharp enough to clip hair without pulling or snagging. We use both the regular and small trimmer heads along with a couple of the length guards.

Great trimmer, except…
The on/off button is a switch that you push back and forth with your thumb, but it’s insanely hard to move. There’s nothing wrong with my finger strength, but I actually strain to turn this thing on and off. Idk if it’s just my unit. Maybe it’s defective. Anyone else?
Otherwise, the trimmer has a powerful motor, seems to have good battery life, and does a great job maintaining my stubble… all nice and even, not patchy like my last trimmer.

My first trimmer that is battery powered. Much easier to use without a cord. Lots of attachments, a timy brush, and trims well, all at a reasonable price. There is also a ziplock pouch where you can store everything in. Happy with the purchase.
