Eyebrow trimming tips
Bought this to replace an old Norelco that did an awesome job, but was no longer made. I broke it sadly.At first, I thought the eyebrow trimmer protectors were flawed. It was barely cutting any eyebrow hair at all. I realized that I was holding it wrong- you do NOT use the âflat bottomâ part against your eyebrow (basically, you donât want the âon buttonâ facing eyebrow when trimming). Rotate the trimmer in your hand so the SIDE of the triangular protector goes along your eyebrow, and itâll trim perfectly. I included a picture to show what âsideâ to use.I saw a lot of reviews saying it wouldnât trim eyebrows, but I bet everyone did what I did and used the big flat part of the protector (the part that faces same side as on button), which is incorrect. Use the side of the triangle protector and itâll work flawlessly!

I generally like Phillips grooming products. Have used them in the past and will in the future. This groomer works but not particularly well. I believe they tried to do too many different things with this kit to do any of them well.

This was fairly easy to use, but it was difficult to read the impossibly small print of the “user guide” which was written for elves with hairy nose-lets, I guess. People, a 4pt font is *very hard to read*.It’s easy to connect and remove the attachments, it’s quiet, and it removes hair painlessly. (My biggest fear is that it would _grab_ a nose hair rather than trim it, but that has never happened.)

Uses an AA Battery! Bravo
After 2 or 3 trimmers with rechargeable batteries that would quit holding a charge after a year or so, I went for one running on an AA battery. The power is much better and lasts for multiple uses. I’m an old guy and all my hair grows in my ears and nose so this unit gets used at least weekly. My last one with a rechargeable battery (and highly rated) had to be left plugged in for 3 days to get 10 minutes of run time.

It’s a great product BUT you need to buy Andis Clipper Oil on the cutter and let it run for 30 seconds or so. If not hair gets stuck in there and it stops working. I have been using that oil and never had a problem. Vendor SHOULD suggest to buy an oil like this.
