Awesome product and a good price
Straight up protein, easily mixes, no flavor which means no added sugar or worse artificial sweeteners. Best I have found so far.

Great for making your own drink mix
I’m a competitive cyclist who rides 8+ hours a week. Using traditional drink mixes from the big brands can rival car payments if you’re using them as directed on each ride. Instead, I turned to make my own. I mix this with an equal weight of fructose powder and store in an air tight container. Each bottle I’ll mix that sugar mix with about a half teaspoon of salt along with a bunch of lemon juice to taste. It’s a high carb drink mix for essentially nothing compared to the big brands. The powder itself is very finely ground which makes the initial mix process a bit messy but oh well. Sometimes at very high concentrations, the stuff is a little challenge to dissolve but I can’t blame the company for controlling the solubiliy limits of water.

Awesome product, packaging annoying
I subsist on a liquid diet (search “soylent” on the web – seriously) and this is my primary source of carbohydrates. I like that I can measure precisely how many calories I will consume from carbohydrates. While not the most nutritious source of energy, it does not need to be — it is pure energy, derived from corn. Essentially, this is pre-digested raw energy. I could see this being really useful before a really hard workout to help kick-start one’s metabolism and provide a little extra energy (although I would not use this if your goal is to burn fat and lose weight). My only gripes are honestly unavoidable. The product is very dusty. It gets everywhere — good luck resealing the bag. I put this in multiple 3 gallon containers and scoop it out with a measuring cup. Even scooping it out causes a cloud of carbs in my kitchen. Not much can be done about that, it is what I get for using powder that is one step above what my cells use for energy. It is also a bit sticky, similar to powdered sugar. Again, I really cannot blame the manufacturer for that, it would be like buying a dog and complaining that it barks.

Excellent Carbohydrate Source for Running Recovery Drink
I was on the hunt to find a product that would act as a post long run and hard track session recovery drink for middle/long distance running. I purchased this product because I was tired of all the other âRecovery Drinksâ, âMass Gainersâ, etc. that included artificial sweeteners (ACE K, Sucralose, etc.) or substances like Creatine. This product fulfills the carbohydrate need of a recovery drink perfectly (youâll have to find another source for your protein if you want a good recovery drink). There is essentially no taste with maybe a small hint of sweet as an aftertaste (like sugar, not that awful artificial sweetener aftertaste). I have tried it in milk, orange juice, and grape juice with and without the whey protein I purchased and it works well. It does get clumpy so a blender is probably a necessity or at least highly recommended.Pros:Good âlack of flavorâReasonable serving sizeJust carbohydrate and nothing funky (no artificial sweetener or Creatine)Cons:Clumpy, so a blender is really importantThe sealing strip on the bag version isnât that greatI highly recommend this product

Good tasting, great hydration…
I really loathe these pricing games they play with us. They all think we are idiots, it’s insulting. Companies are always trying to squeeze every dollar they can out of us.This stuff is cheap wholesale. I’ve noticed how they keep trying to ease up the price on it but there are far cheaper places to get it than at the Amazon Marketplace. Aside from that, it is a good product for keeping glycogen levels up to prevent muscle wasting and for ATP. I like the taste because it isn’t sweet. Helps keep energy levels up. After consuming about 75 grams I was able to ride my cycle for 100 minutes non stop. The consumption of complex carbs also helps me sleep. I have tried other things but nothing seems to be as effective and I simply don’t eat enough during the day to get my levels up so I found this to be an effective way of increaing brain fuel which increases ATP and adenosine which aids in the onset of sleep. I found consuming too late in the evening will affect the onset of sleep and too much can cause AV node blockage according to what I have read about it so getting the right amount is important.Another important point for eating carbs is hydration. For every molecule of glucose produced there is also two molecules of water. With the summers getting hotter staying hydrated is important and don’t forget your electrolytes, mix with some coconut water or a good electrolyte powder that doesn’t contain silica.Downside it does clump a little when mixing. I learned to mix in advance of consumption and let it sit for awhile. After several minutes it will dissolve or you can add warm water and then ice your beverage. I mix with Jo Mar Labs Amino Acids.Update: Stop sending the baggage, don’t want it can’t manage it. Mixing this with strawberry’s n cream Isopure, not bad. Shipping is fast at first and then once you start buying regularly it gets slower, fathom that.

High quality, great price
My favorite aspect of this maltodextrin is that it contains NO additives. I use this to make my own nutrition/sports drink for long bike rides, and I like that I am not consuming anything that I don’t need during my activity. “Dissolves instantly” is not really true – but no pure maltodextrin will dissolve instantly. Any product that does has been adulterated with surfactants or other weird chemicals that make it dissolve faster but have no place in a natural, healthy diet. Some things that have worked for me: use warmer water – even just room temp water will speed things up quite a bit. If you HAVE to have your drink cold, just put it back in your refrigerator after mixing. If you plan ahead just a little, the maltodextrin will eventually dissolve by itself. I can leave a drink bottle with many large, undissolved clumps on my counter for an hour, and afterwards the clumps will be gone.
