No More Headaches In The Morning!
This device works fantastic. With sufficient air through the nose I now wake up with no headaches from lack of oxygen. I buy plenty of these to replace them every few weeks, after they wear out too much and get too weak. I use them at home, and when traveling, everyday, no exceptions. At first time use it seemed a bit painful, but after a while my nose got used to it. The strong extra-large version is definitely painful even after years of using it, but it is good to have the strong version too, since sometimes the normal version does not provide enough airflow, depending on how swollen the nose is inside, obviously depending on the diet of the day before, and how much this device needs to expand the nose. In addition to this device I recommend to watch the food you eat. Some food makes the nose inside swell up, other food creates a lot of mucous in the nose. It’s just a matter of observing what you eat, and what happens to your body. Everyone is different, there is no standard list of what to eat or not to eat to keep the nose free.

uncomfortable, falls out, Silent Sleep beats this one hands down!
One of the best nasal dilators I ever used was Sullys Nose spreader, this was the first of its kind. Thin surgical steel wire shaped similar to Silent Sleep except there was a wide loop at each end which not only pressed out the side walls of the nostrils but the loop sat against the inner part of the nostril to create resistance. The genius inventor-engineer Robert Sullivan created the prototype for himself 20 years ago as he said he slept with straws up his nose to open his nasal passages..I was so impressed I could finally breathe at nite that I tried to get my long time allergist to supply them for his patients. My allergist tried one and when I saw him the following week said he wouldn’t carry them for his patients. When I asked him why he said his patients wouldn’t come to him anymore, their breathing problems would be solved! I know Mayo clinic used Sullys for their patients. Unfortunately Mr. Sullivan passed away and the business closed. Sullys Nose Spreaders are not available anymore. I have been using my leftover Sully Nose spreaders for the last 20 years, and a few months ago when I realized I had only one Sully Nose Spreader left I went on an active search for a replacement. About 2 weeks ago I discovered Silent Sleep nasal dilator from Snore Stop -available on Amazon. Absolutely the best! I suffer from small nasal passages combined with allergies to dust and I am a lazy house cleaner. At nite my nose stuffs up when I lie down. I have tried all the internal nasal dilators over the last several months to replace Sullys–Nosovent-the large hurt( Big mistake, I bought large because I wanted to really really breathe) and the medium fell out almost immediately and felt uncomfortable and weird compared to Sullys. I tried the Ultimate Nasal Dilator, a thicker wire contraption that you fit over your nose and the ends go into your nose-too uncomfortable with all the steel on the outside and the prongs that go into your nose feel weird. Another thing I tried was the Nose Cone, the plastic was so flimsy it collapsed under the weight of the sides of my nose. Breathe Right hardly worked as well as Sullys, just opened the nostrils a little, the “extra strength” is better but is too thick and rigid and felt uncomfortable, I think my nose was sweating under it! I ripped it off after wearing it for about a half hour. Another I tried is the Breathe With Eeze, actually an effective but expensive product that works well as long as you don’t break it! You have to spread the wires apart to fit your nose and the steel is so thin it breaks very easily when you spread it apart- way too expensive to keep replacing them. I broke them they were too fragile. Other dilators I tried were either so flimsy they collapsed under the weight of the side walls of my nostrils, or they took up so much space in my nose there wasn’t any space left over to breathe! The Silent Sleep by Snore Stopper is the best! It is made from a lightweight flexible coated plastic which you can adjust to how wide you want it to go-just like my beloved Sullys Nose Spreader.. To me the best part is that the part that spreads your nostrils open go the full height of the product so you can open your nostrils way up to the top of the nostrils( not only the bottom part at the opening of your nostrils)-just like the Sullys Nose Spreder. I can’t even feel Silent Sleep in my nose and it does not need time to get used to. Comfortable from the get go you don’t even know its there. When I read a review from another reviewer on the Amazon site who highly recommeneded Silent Sleep (by Snore Stopper)I thought I’d give it a try. Thank you reviewer!! Hands down Silent Sleep is the most comfortable and most effective internal nasal dilator I have tried since Sullys. And at a fraction of the cost-only $9.99!! I am so impressed I ordered 5 so I will always have them. (If you order 4 or more they give you one free)I have been using this for a week now and I couldn’t be happier!!Thank you Silent Sleep!

A lifesaver
It’s a very simple product and very effective to help me fall asleep. I need to breathe through my nose when sleeping and this little device is a huge help. I use it regularly with great results.

Effective, but with downsides
I am a light sleeper and I sleep with my mouth closed. I sometimes snore, and usually it wakes me up right away. So, I can tell fairly easily what my snore pattern is.Upsides: this device seems to help my snoring (I wake up less than half as often). It works by keeping your nose open further, and so you can breath easier (it is a “reverse” of those “breath easy” nose strips as it pushes out from the inside of your nose). I suspect that you get more oxygen with each breath, and so you don’t have to breath as deep or as often, and that is perhaps why it reduces snoring. It is also inexpensive, so it may be easy to justify taking a chance on it.Downsides: I doubt it would help mouth breathers. It slips out from time to time. It makes me sneeze sometimes (since it can tickle). It took me a few nights to get used to it (at first, it seemed a bit painful, but then I got used to it).I now use it sparingly, but it has it’s place in my life. I will buy more when this one loses it’s flex.

Works, but painful after a week
There’s no denying this product works. I struggle to breathe through my nose even during the day, and this mitigated the problem while I slept. However, after a week it is very painful. There are concave protrusions on the sides of the device that come into contact with the inside of your nose, and they are not smooth. In fact, even just feeling them with my fingers i would describe the protrusions as bordering on sharp. The sections of my nose that contact these protrusions have become raw with continued use, and further irritation every night has basically made the device unwearable.

As a person with Asthma, a deviated septum, and allergies, Nosovent really works well!
For many years I have been unable to breath adequately through my nose while sleeping. I wake up each morning with a very dry moth and throat, and mouth breathing inflames my asthma symptoms. I have been wearing a Breathright for many years and it does help a little, but not enough.I first discovered Nosovent through medical research papers available on the internet. It is medically proven to improve nose breathing based on a number of clinical trials. So I figured I would give it a try. The first night using Nosovent it allowed me to breath through my nose and I woke up the next morning without a dry mouth and throat, and my asthma was well under control. I had also slept better than I have in a long time. I’m very thankful that I discovered this device and will most likely be using it the rest of my life. It allows me to breath well through my nose during sleep. What a great product!
