Ogham is an Irish alphabet consisting of 20 letters. Its historical origin is uncertain, but it is considered to have originated around the Irish Sea in the 4th century AD.
Ogham’s original form represented 80 sounds, and the 20 symbols were arranged in four groups of five.
Each group, or acme, is grouped into one to five lines, with each letter represented by one, two, three, four, or five lines, or placed to the left, right, or both directions of an axis line.
It consists of notches carved into wood or stone.
The Celts knew the spirit of trees and nature. They were using Ogham to connect with nature.
Each Letter (Runic symbol) was animated by a tree and its creation was attributed to the god Ogma.
To remove the various nature of Ogham writings for offensive purposes such as amulets, talismans and divination, to predict the future or to reveal its secrets.

Artwork is excellent, some translation weirdness
The artwork on this deck is even more beautiful in person. The cards are a decent size and quite flexible and easy to shuffle. The gloss on them is nice, but there was one card where it seems to have dried funny and is a bit rough to the touch. It’s not noticeable enough to cause issues using the deck but whenever I come to that card I can definetly feel the difference. The text in the book is a translation and some of the English is a bit odd. The meaning is pretty clear but some of the wording is a bit off for a native American English speaker. I would have liked if the cards included the English tree names on them in addition to the rune and the Irish spelling, but after using the deck for a while you start to remember it better without constantly having to look it up. Would buy again. Gives good reading by itself but Makes a great companion for tarot, oracle, or rune reading.

Beautiful Cards
4 stars because the cards are gorgeous. Not very many cards in deck so it is very thin deck, which is difficult to shuffle. Card stock Is very thin as well. The card meaning are ok, but difficult to find due to the booklet setup. I think these cards are a little over priced for such a thin deck and would not recommend purchasing unless price is lowered.

A very different type of oracle deck
This oracle deck intrigues me. I’ve never seen anything like it before nor have I ever heard of anything like it before. I haven’t read with it yet because I’m still getting acquainted with the deck so I can fully understand what it has to say. But there seems to be some very rich history here and I love history, especially spiritual history.You may be wondering why the 2 star deduction?Well the box is unnecessarily big! I was surprised by the box size given there’s only 25 cards in this deck so why the huge box? That part doesn’t make sense to me. This box is bigger than any oracle deck box I have and I’ve got plenty of oracle/tarot decks. I don’t like that this big box takes up so much space.The manufacturer really should consider a smaller box for such a small deck or at the very least, include a carrying bag.Anyway, I still highly recommend this very unique and intriguing deck. Lots of beautiful images and beautiful green with beautiful images.

Beautiful Celtic oracle cards
This set of oracle is beautiful, I like that it comes with a booklet that explains the runes and the symbolism. The cards are laminated, and they are large like tarot cards. My only complaint is that I wish they came in a smaller box, so it’d be easy to carry them with you.

While I do not practice divination often, I do have several tarot or oracle cards. I felt immediately drawn to them, and I found that they are all animal- and nature-related. I felt a deep calling and connection to Celtic folklore and this oracle. Nature and animals are my soul, and I love trees immensely. Each Ogham symbol derives its name from Celtic mythology and metaphorical tree meanings. There are 24 beautiful glossy cards and a booklet inside the box.I always consecrate the cards and connect with their energy before using them for the first time. I tend to meditate for a short while with them in between my hands. If you would like to consult with the cards about life, you can shuffle and take out three staves. They can represent the past, present, and future, or whatever feels right for you. The booklet describes ways of divination and treats each symbol separately, with their upright and reversed meanings. I feel deeply connected to this oracle, and I am delighted with it.

I have been wanting to try Tarot for a while now since I did it for an event at work and so I got this. It has been really cool learning how to read tarot and interpret others journey’s through the cards. I like this set because its very green, natural and celtic themed.

Lovely set overall. Comes with a nicely printed, if simple, manual that is easy to follow when using the cards for divination. The cards themselves have no writing beyond their names and symbols much like other divination cards.The card stock is perfect. Perfectly printed, very high quality and laminated. They come seated in cardboard innards that is not the best quality protection. Upon opening, the cards were spilt everywhere. I had expected them to be encased in either plastic wrap or a better fitting recess where they couldn’t move about in the box. Another thought is given the price, I would think they’d include a small bag for storage much like what I see with traditional tarot card decks. That is not the case.Is it a good product? Yes, most defiantly. Certainly one of the higher quality decks I have reviewed. Just a bit pricy for what you get in my opinion.

The deck I received did not look new. None of the cards were in order some upside down and backwards. On a lot of the cards the corner have been badly cut and they have small chunks missing. This deck was very expensive for so few cards compared to other decks. I wouldn’t mind paying extra for a great deck. The images are lovely but the deck itself is badly damaged by the cutting. I wanted to keep it but all I see are the missing bits so i think I shall have to return it.
