Way Too Thick
I’m a native of Seattle Washington.I’ve been eating this beef jerky. My whole life since I was a little girl and it has changed drastically. It’s not that good. It’s super thick oily. It’s not dry enough and it’s NOT THIN at all

Yummm!
I’m biased because I’ve always enjoyed this brand and this style of jerky. For a while they were almost impossible to find which was really upsetting because I don’t like that soft type of jerky, I like a good dry jerky that you have to chew on for 6 days before you can swallow it and this is it. I love it

No Sugar taste!
I always have loved Oberto’s classic Thin jerky and no sugary taste. If the price wasn’t to high, I’d rate it ‘5’

The quality has drastically gone downhill, which is such a shame because it used to be so good.
I wonât be ordering this again. Itâs disappointing because I used to love it so much. Itâs difficult to find in stores, so when I saw it on Amazon, I was so excited. Iâve been buying this since 2018 & never did I ever receive a bag with mold in it. For years I always received bags of fresh and delicious beef jerky. It After a few years I noticed that the beef jerky was getting harder & tasted stale. I thought maybe I had just gotten a couple of bad batches, and was willing to look past it. Then came the day when I received several bags of beef jerky COMPLETELY covered in mold! I couldnât believe it. Even more disturbing is the fact that you could clearly see it was beyond spoiled, and yet somehow, the person who packaged my order thought nothing of sending rotten food after taking my money. Thatâs unacceptable & disgusting.

We buy these over and over
Definitely the best beef jerky. I canât find these in the store anymore- happy to get them here. Though I wish they were cheaper because we eat a lot of these ð

Did not like
Only thing I tasted was salt. Small pieces of jerky and lots of little crumbles at bottom of package. Wonât buy again.

Might be my new favorite, almost cowboy dry and thin cut, good balance of salt and flavor.
I eat and sample a lot of jerky, most of it is junk. Too soft generic garbage seems to be the common formula for most. I mean Jack Links?! That stuff is closer to a dog treat than something a person should consider a meat snack, certainly not eatable. I definitely also have a preference towards cowboy dry versus all this wet soft stuff. What makes this Oh Boy Oberto so good? Super thin cut and not chewy soft, but also not so dry it turns into dust. The thin slices mean you can down these at breakneck speed without getting a toothache. Not quite dry dusty cowboy dry, but just enough you could carry a bag off into the sunset and feel worthy. Wholesome and hardy, the way it should be. Not overly salty, not too bland. The peppered isn’t really hot, but has a nice flavor with a bit more zing versus the original. Pricing is decent as most jerky prices have nearly doubled over the years. Delicious.
