So far, so good.
I have a 16+ year old Pomeranian that is too old to have his teeth cleaned at the vets. My vet is concerned he would not survive the Anastasia. Needless to say his breath is not good. We have tries powders in his food, (He refuses to eat), and dental solution in his drinking water. (He significantly limits his drinking). Spraying this in his mouth seems to work. We are taking it very slow on testing this. I need to trick him to open his mouth by offering a treat. He seems to tolerate the spray. His breath seems better. I do not limit access to water after spraying this in his mouth. If he wants to drink he is allowed to. He is too old to limit him access to water. So at least for now I am carefully monitoring him to see how well this works for him and how well he tolerates this. So far, this seems like a workable solution to improve his breath and hopefully dental health in general.

I board dogs in my home, and occasionally I get a dog that has bad breath. I ordered this breath freshener to have on hand to give to these dogs while they are in my care. I haven’t had to use it yet, but I’m sure it will come in handy.

I’m shocked
I really didn’t have high hopes for this spray. I’m not sure why, but I associate ‘all natural’ with ‘ineffective’. Also, I doubted ANYTHING could tackle my dog’s bad breath. Boy, was I wrong! I give a couple of squirts (after spraying some in the sink to get it started) and, to my amazement, his breath really didn’t stink anymore! I mean, it still wasn’t smelling like roses, but it was MUCH, MUCH better. He wasn’t a huge fan of me prying his mouth open and squirting this on his teeth, but he tolerated it. I’m not sure how this works as it really doesn’t have a strong smell, but it certainly worked for us. It doesn’t last forever, but it does work wonders for the time it does work.
