For years Iâve used OPI Nail Envy, which really made a marked difference in my peeling, splitting easily broken fingernails. When OPI changed the formula, I no longer enjoyed the same benefits. Since then Iâve been searching for a suitable alternative, only to be disappointed. Either the polish would begin to peel off after 2 or 3 days, or my nails would split and break in spite of the polish. ORLY Nail Defense is the best replacement Iâve found. Iâm generally happy with it and the results Iâm seeing. Iâll buy this again.

Works well
Iâve always had trouble with peeling nails that would split in the middle my entire life. I found the ORLY Breathable line years ago and decided to try this product.My nails would regularly break at the quick despite trying to take care of them. I have had manicures before, but I hated how they would weaken the nails underneath.Yesterday was the first time that a nail had broken since I started using this product in March of this year. Some times, beforehand, I would break a nail every few days.I try to apply 2 coats a day and then remove at least once a week. I donât do anything special other than that. I still wash dishes every day by hand and still have no problems.My nail growth is probably not that impressive to most, but I am happy with how this product works. I really recommend this product. As long as the formula doesnât change, I wonât be without it and a spare. The only thing that would make this 100% perfect, in my mind, is to bring out a similar product in the Breathable line.

Seals and strengthens
Saw it high on a list of recommended repair products. My nails were all damaged from malnutrition (I was in a coma) and a crease developed across all 10. When those creases grew out towards the ends, those areas split and came apart, with constant problems, requiring a lot of care.After only 2 applications, it was clear it was really helping. Now the nails have almost grown entirely out, and I should be as good as new.

Best nail strengthener ever!!
As I have gotten older my nails seem to chip a lot I have a hard time growing them I am 62 so I have tried many nail strengtheners like Sally Hansen, Revlon, Perfect Nails I could go on and on I came across this and my nails have been growing because it actually does strengthen my nails and keeps them from chipping I usually put two coats on and then every other day another coat for a week and then I take him off and repeat. Also use it for base coat and then put color on and use it for a top coat works out perfectly that way also. May seem a little expensive but the quality you’re paying for is worth it I forgot to mention the bristles that you apply it with are perfect I don’t know how to describe it but it puts the nail straightener on very nice and even.

Iâve tried just about everything out there for breaking, peeling nails after long-term dip nails. What finally worked for me was simply cutting them off short, keeping them short and otherwise leaving them alone. They are finally starting to look healthy again. Good luck to you all! 🙂
