These were perfect for traveling, just the right size. The price point it a little higher than what I normally would spend but definitely worth it. They all smelled great, the scrub was amazing and left my skin feeling refreshed and smooth. The shampoo left my hair feeling shiny, refreshed and clean. The container for the shampoo and conditioner were not the best, they were open upon arrival and some of the product had leaked out everywhere ( not very durable).

Half of the shampoo was spilled out into the packaging upon arrival. Attempted to get a replacement and the only option is to do a return which requires going out of my way and take it to town to a “return” site. Should have just went to town to purchase it in the first place.

I needed a good detox shampoo, as I started wrapping my hair about 4 months ago. Since I’m no longer using hair products, and wearing scarves, my scalp has been readjusting, and overcompensating by producing more oil.I always washed my hair weekly before, but now my usual shampoo hasn’t been sufficient, and I’ve been left with build up even after doing a second shampoo.After scouring reviews, I chose this OUAI travel kit, with detox shampoo, and thick hair mask and scalp scrub. I wanted to try it before committing to the large bottles. I also purchased a handheld scalp scrubber.The value seemed pretty fair for the size, but I had to wait and see how much I went through once I actually used it.As for the Scalp scrub. My hair is halfway down my back and very thick. I put about a quarter size amount in my palm to start and was shocked when it actually was enough to distribute throughout my whole scalp! I wasn’t exactly sure what to make of the scent as described on the listing, but it was actually very pleasant. Not too sweet, just enough to be fresh and feminine. I used the scalp scrubber to loosen up the buildup at my scalp and was suprised I was able to even comb through my hair. And this was even prior to shampooing!After a thorough rinse, I used the detox shampoo. I only needed about a half dollar size amount, and a single wash. I can’t even remember the last time I didn’t have to wash my hair twice! Rich lather, that same fresh scent and clean rinsing.The Thick Hair mask only required a quarter size drop. Also unheard of with this much hair. I was able to comb through my hair with my fingers alone. No greasiness here; just unbeatable softness.After a thorough rinse, I examined my scalp, and there was no trace of any leftover buildup. As stated before, I only use the bare essentials in products now, and the included spray in conditioner is perfect. Just s couple sprays was a simple a couple be.As a former hairdresser, I understand quality products aren’t cheap. But it’s because they are concentrated. Using more cheap product often means your only piling on products made with higher concentrations of water.My hair felt healthy, soft and strong after one treatment. Each step couldn’t be easier to use, and I’ve already added the larger bottles of each product to my subscribe and save.They have many different options for individual types of hair. While the larger bottles are a bit more expensive than many other brands, you are getting quality and the consistency of the products ensures a small amount at each washing will make each bottle last much longer than other brands.I promise you won’t be disappointed with the brand. Your hair and scalp will thank you!
