I have a 60 pound pitty puppy and this is a good toy for her. She is a super chewer and has not destroyed it. It keeps her busy until it runs out of treats. I mixed kibble w the treats. Good size. Good quality. Good value.

Sadie delights in discovering on her own, her favorite treats. She has to figure out which slot to move to get her treats. This keeps her occupied and happy. Easy to clean and store away. I Recommend this for your pet.

This is the third puzzle I have purchased. I really like this little toy! Definitely a little hard for my old man thatâs been out of puzzle practice! But heâs a determined little guy. With a little help on the last removable white cover, he finished it! Definitely a more intermediate level! It glides really easy, great performance, and easy to use because of the great quality! Definitely recommend this tornado puzzle! Would be great with younger dogs 8 months and up! Definitely supervise while using due to the removable parts. This puzzle will keep your fur babies entertained for a long time!

My 40 pound lab mix is smarter than any dog I’ve ever had and is prone to boredom and restlessness. She’s also a teenager, so she’s got endless energy. I wanted to get her some puzzle toys but wanted to start basic, no levers or switches or multi-step. This seemed like a good option since balls are one of her favorite toys, and rolling it around seemed simple enough. Sure enough, all I had to do was fill the toy, set it on the floor, and roll it once before she realized this magical contraption dispenses yummy nuggets of deliciousness, gee thanks, ma!Kibble (or small treats) must be loaded through the two small holes in the ball. The ball does NOT come apart. Keep this in mind for larger kibbles, and for cleaning purposes. I just submerge it in hot soapy water and shake it around, then rinse it a few times until no soap remains. I knew this ahead of time by reading other reviews so it didn’t catch me by surprise. I could have probably found a similar toy that did come apart, but since I’d never tried a puzzle feeder before, I wanted to go with this cost-friendly option.We’re excited to try new puzzles when she gets bored of this one, but so far she still likes it!

Not well formed, inner most ball easily destroyed, but dog loves it
So the edges are not well produced where the two half spheres come together to form the sphere which add both a bit to the complexity of the dog being able to get the inner sphere out of the toy AND (depending on the size of your dog) could allow the dog to chew off the âseamâ and ingest the material. Also in the negative, as you can see from the video, the hole where the treat comes out was easily chewed and torn.HOWEVERâ¦Our mill mamma rescue golden doodle LOVES this toy. When we first adopted her after 7 years in a puppy mill, it was the first toy she consistently gravitated toward. She is food motivated (no surprise) and this level 1 toy gave her just the right balance of mental effort and rewards. Weâre ordering a set of 2.5â diameter replacement spheres from another vendor and hoping they work inside this toy. Hate to just throw it all away and add to the plastics issues. So Iâd recommend it – but it comes with some disappointments.

This is a good treat searching toy. However, the puppies pick up on where the treats are and it doesn’t take them long to end the puzzle. It does distract them for a bit.
