Increases the life of my green onions tenfold
I’m a man who eats a lot of green onions. I saw this product come on sale and wondered if they could increase the life of said green onions and prevent them from wilting. Surely enough, they increased the shelf life of them by like two weeks. I don’t know if it has anything to do with the carbon filter through the vent, or the raised basket inside the container, but whatever it is, it is working amazingly well.I’m looking forward to trying out what else I can preserver with this OXO Good Grips GreenSaver Produce Keeper, but its probably going to be mostly green onions.

Does what is intended
This product does what it is intended to do. It keeps greens fresh. When I did not use this the greens went bad noticeably sooner !

Does its job well, just a minor complaint
It does a great job of keeping produce fresh. I’m a fan of the “mesh” lining the entire interior of the container compared to the Rubbermaid one I have which only has a bottom liner. The one minor complaint I have is that the lid doesn’t fit snugly. It just sits on top loosely so it doesn’t work well if you want to take a container with you to a picnic.

Good, could be better
These containers do a great job keeping your food fresh. The main problem I have is that the lid does not latch shut. It doesn’t even sit tight enought to resemble a seal. It just.. sits on container.This has led to some mishaps that would be easily avoidable with a properly closing lid. I don’t understand why you would design a food storage container like this…All of that said, it does keep fresh foods.. fresh. I can’t say whether the carbon filters actually do anything but if they do, they probably only help for about one “use.” Carbon just isn’t useful for very long – it’s quickly and easily saturated.If you’re thinking about buying these because you think the carbon is going to be some freshness miracle, please stop buying into markeing hype.We love our other OXO products. They’re usually well worth the increased price. These are pretty disappointing.Do not recommend.

Lids do not snap on securely
This would’ve been a great product but the lids do not secure on the container. They just sit on top and when you grab them the lid falls off and the container spills. Not sure the logic in a loose lid but it defeats the purpose of keeping your produce fresh in them and you have to be extra careful when grabbing the container.

These sadly aren’t doing anything but taking up space in the fridge. I thought about buying another set after a great deal on them but it’s not worth it! The veggies and fruit still go bad after a few days. And the lock feature? Horrible!

Does not meet expectations.
Not what I expected. They are bulky and the lid does not clip on. It just sits on top. I put carrots in one and lettuce in the other. Didn’t notice any difference than if I put in regular Tupperware. (Except the lid doesnât stay on). Would not buy again.
