This blanket is lovely. The ikat pattern and embroidery create a very delicate and unique pattern. Everything feels sturdy and well-stitched. Unfortunately, the blue colour is less of a true blue (as the pictures suggest) and more of a lilac blue. Compared to the navy blue accents on my carpet, it just looks a little too much on the purple side of blue. What is interesting is that the underside with the stripes is accurate to the pictures as a light to medium blue. The other reason I took off one star is the underside of the blanket (the striped side) is polyester and just felt a little too rough for the cost of the blanket. I was very disappointed and confused as the blanket seemed well made otherwise and the listing states 100% cotton. The part of the blanket that is cotton is the Ikat pattern side.If you sleep with a sheet between you and the comforter and you want a blue blanket with a hint of lavender/lilac in it, then this blanket may work for you.
