Strong scent, dog wasnât a fan
First impression is cautious. The scent is quite strong, and I couldnât get my dog to come near me once I put it in my hands to rub on. Luckily I used gloves because Iâm not sure how long it would take to get the smell off. The consistency is definitely an oil, and reading the description it appears to have some nice oils in the blend. Unfortunately my dog can be very sensitive to things on his skin. So this might be something I try if it is an emergency matted fur or something but not an everyday occurrence or even every other day for me. So I will just say it appears to be a decent oil with a strong scent for sure. As far as application, well I will have to pass since the dog went behind the couch once he got a whiff lol.

Works well
I have a Mini Labradoodle and her fur is full of tight curls and it is difficult to brush. I usually shave her but now that it’s getting colder out I am letting it grow so I needed something that would help soften and detangel her fur so I can brush her without causing discomfort and this definitely helped. I have no sense of smell but my husband said it smelled good, the way he described it was that is smelled like a hairspray he smelled before but good. He is a dork, lol. This went on easily and soaked in nicely. This left her fur soft with a slight shine. But the best part was that I could brush her without her moving everywhere because this help detangel.

Strong smell…but it does seem to work well
The smell of this oil is quite strong and I would recommend using gloves when applying it to your animals fur coat.Overall though, I do believe this stuff works well. I’ve noticed a bit more “sheen” to my dog’s fur.

Very Potent
The scent is overwhelming! My nose was burning, and my sense of smell is nothing compared to a cat! He Angus the cat) went and hid while I tried desperately to remove it from my hands which still reek of it! It would probably work for matted fur, but I’m not going to torture mine or my cat’s nose to do it.
