Great shampoo for itchy smelly dog
After using a shampoo from the vet for the past three years for my itchy and smelly dog, I decided to try the Pet Honesty brand that contained the same active ingredient chlorhexidine. The shampoo arrived quickly, and in a good sized bottle for the price compared to the brand from the veterinarianâs office. It smelled nice, and lathered well. It rinses clean, smells clean, and relieved my dog from the yeasty foul smell and itchy skin inflammation from her allergy condition. She actually seemed to get better relief from this brand than prescription shampoo that I previously used on her. It doesnât leave behind perfume scent, it just results in an odorless dog. Youâll need a scented detangling or brushing spray to use during or after drying if you really want additional fragrance. I will definitely keep using this and I recommend it for washing away the doggy odor, and for helping itchy, inflamed skin and paws.

I bought this product because my dog has a flea allergy and I was desperate. The shampoo is fine, nice smell, easy to use. Shockingly, it actually does what it says. After one use I noticed a difference. After two uses, she has practically stopped scratching. Will definitely buy again.

This formula was gentle with a very light settle fragrance. Seems to work well. I only used 1 time so far. Made my two shepherd dogs coats soft and shiny. Will continue to use to see if it will completely stop my one dogs skin issues.

Love the scent of the shampoo. Our Belgium Malinoisâs coat is super soft and shiny. Havenât seen her itch her coat so we are hoping this will help with hot spots.

What my dog needed was a new diet and some Advantage II. He was scratching and biting a lot. I changed his diet, added Nature’s Blend, dog vitamins, chicken or beef broth and 1/2 Purina One puppy food. His teeth are cleaner and he’s acting like a puppy. He even ran down the street and went to the neighbor’s house like he used to do years ago. The shampoo is good but my dog’s problem was his diet.
