Powder for Pup’s Pearly Whites: Mixed Results
Tried this dental powder for my dog’s less-than-fresh breath. It’s pretty easy to use – just sprinkle it on his food and he gobbles it up without complaint. The mint scent is nice, definitely noticed a difference in his breath after a few weeks. Liked that it’s made with natural ingredients, made me feel better about adding it to his diet. The container lasts a while, which is good considering the price. But it’s not all tail wags and treats. Didn’t see much change in the visible plaque on his teeth, still needed regular brushing. The powder can clump a bit if it gets damp, had to be careful sealing the container. While my dog liked it, a friend’s picky eater wouldn’t touch food with the powder on it. The smell can be a bit strong when you first open the container, might be off-putting for some. And let’s be real, it’s hard to tell if those fancy-sounding ingredients are doing much beyond the mint freshening his breath. Overall, it’s an okay supplement for maintaining oral health, but don’t expect miracles. Didn’t work for my dog
I have a small dog and I used half of the half serving suggestion for my dog and it really messed his stomach up. His diet is pretty much the same since he had been born and I tried this for his teeth, bad idea. I just pray that he gets better and it didn’t damage his insidesð¤¬

Can give diarrhea, watch dosages
This actually works. Have used for approx 23 days on three year old GWP, 12 year old Yorkie cross, and 9 year old Shih Tâzu cross. Will continue to use. They seem to love the taste. My one caveat is to start low as far as dosage. The 65 lb GWP is getting a scant half scoop, the littles get barely an eighth of a scoop, daily, on their evening feeds. Initially I was giving too much (quarter scoop for the littles) and it gave them diarrhea. Will order again. I donât like anesthesia for dental work, especially with the older two. Also, last dental two months ago was $1,100, so thereâs that, too!

I used this in our fur baby’s food but something made he vomit so I stopped. It has been several weeks now so thought I would try again and see what the results are. Gave only 3 stars because of her sickness. I use two of Pet Honesty products and trust them. If the results are different, I’ll update the stars.

First, when you open the can it is literally only half full. We gave this brand a try over the more expensive brand I had ordered prior. Found out it did absolutely nothing for my two little dogs breath and teeth. Threw it away and ordered the more expensive brand that I know for a fact works amazingly! Oh and the more expensive brand fills their cans to the top.
