Great Little 2-in-1
Both sides of this brush open smoothly and close securely. I was worried that because it wasnât one solid piece that there might be some wobble to the handle, but that is not the case. It is easy to use and perfect for travel.This brush works great. The finer-toothed side is perfect for de-shedding. The wider-spaced teeth work great for untangling knots in longer hair.I have used this brush on both a large, single coated poodle mix and a small, double coated corgi. It was effecting at removing hair and debris from both! Additionally, both dogs seemed to REALLY enjoy it â which leads me to believe that the brush didnât cause any sort of discomfort on their end.I would absolutely recommend this product! We will continue to take it with us on extended trips.

I should have payed closer attention on the size of the product. Pet Life ® ‘JOYNE’ Multi-Functional 2-in-1 Swivel Travel Grooming Comb and Deshedder. I didn’t think it was going to be very big since it was labeled a “Travel Grooming Comb and Deshedder.” But, it definitely would also depend on the size of your pet. We have small dogs, so this just seems, to us, that it’s a little big to be using on them. It definitely would have worked on my Felicia girl (medium sized mix mutt, age 17) that was put to rest in 2021 due to her excruciating pain. We just couldn’t make her suffer anymore. ð

Dimensions: 5.5″ x 1.5″ x 1″ closed. Each comb is ~4.75″ length- Pull on silicone ears, open, pull down the comb, lock the comb in place- Got this for my friend’s cat who really enjoys being brushed with the metal comb! (less so with the deshedder)Pros:- Double-sided 2-in-1 comb and deshedder- Lightweight and portable size with carrying strapCons:- Small comb and deshedder size does not remove much hair at once

Ideal Combo
There is nothing not to like other than it is not for all pet types. My orangutan has very thick hair and this just won’t cut it. But cats and dogs without huge hair issues like people in the 80s, well, it is ideal.Whether as one combo tool or in your arsenal of pet grooming tools, this is just great. And perfect for keeping in the car or for traveling in general. No, not for you, but you could if you insisted, I won’t tell!Well made, has a great design, is sturdy, and giftable. Nothing not to like but it is not for orangutans. Or hyenas.

This comb works great. I tried it out on my youngest cat and practically combed out enough loose hair to build a new cat.It feels great in my hand, seems durable, and didn’t rip at any of my boy’s fur.I also like that it’s compact and when folded the tines of the combs are protected so they don’t accidentally grab anything

I love this grooming comb! I keep my dogs hair pretty short, but I will definitely use this between Groomings. Maybe it will even stretch his expensive haircut to 7 or 8 weeks instead of 5. Grooming comb did not pull on his coat, and he actually seemed to enjoy it.thinned his coat nicely! His breed doesnât shed, so I cannot attest to that. But being that the comb is sharp and useful, I would say the deshedding side probably works well too. This would be a great tool for show dogs or people who travel with their pets.

I’m on the fence with this comb
Hmmm….not sure about this one. While the idea is great the comb metal teeth isn’t comfortable for my pomeranian. He’s usually great when I comb him and sits there allowing me to groom him but when I used this on him he kept moving away from it like it was hurting him. I think the metal teeth are too pointy and he did not like it at all or it might be that I’m using a new comb on him.I’ve tried this on him twice now and he still moves away from it. I will then bring out his normal comb and he’s totally fine with me combing him. Also, with the traveling comb I found that you have to really pull hard to open it.

This is a great cat or dog comb, my cat has long hair that’s prone to matting so he gets brushed daily and this comb works really well for getting out little knots where he grooms himself. It’s a really nice color and sleek design too! Great for traveling as it folds up as well, I recommend!
