Disappointing quality, broken after only one time use
I bought this cat carrier for my 12lbs domestic shot hair cat, only used it one time for a short car ride. Today I noticed that one of the 2 straps is ripped and almost falls off. I didnât enjoy the fact that the carrier is only good for ONE TIME use. Be aware of the quality if you are interested in purchasing.

Smells horrible, badly made
Horrible chemical smell that barely reduced after leaving it outside for a day to air out. The plastic dome was cracked on the top, but the product was clearly brand new so it wasnât from a previous owner or anything. The plastic film that covers the dome is literally sewn INTO the zipper and itâs hard to get all the pieces out. The screw-on bubble is so difficult to get placed correctly so I wouldnât imagine myself changing it much, cuz it was a hassle. And to top it off, one of the zippers wonât zip going in one direction so that kind of defeated the use of a double zipper at all. Returned this for something else.

I love the bag so far, but havenât used it because it stinks
The bag has an odor that it arrives with, that reeks of cigarette smokeâ¦. Makes me gag. I have sprayed it with fabreeze hopefully it gets rid of it by morning. The only other criticism I have for the bag right now it the plastic covert around the plexiglass doesnât peel off very easily and it drives me nuts having small pieces left all the way around. Thankfully I did watch the video on how to put the desired extra piece for the hole. Or I wouldnât have figured it out. There arenât any directions.

Regretful purchase.
Wanted a space capsule-type pet carrier to transport my 13-lb., 13-year-old terrier mix at the UFO Festival in McMinnville, Oregon (ufofest.com). She can’t walk very far without having to take a rest. I had read the reviews; saw that people had trouble with removing the thin plastic sheet from the clear outer shell. It’s factory-pressed at the edge between the shell and the material seal. Used a box cutter to cut the perimeter and around the vent rings, and it easily peeled off with no junk at the edges. But that’s not where I had a problem.I was at the festival toting my little dog for only a couple hours when the left shoulder strap’s seam came apart halfway through at the top. I have no doubt that it would have broken completely off if I continued to use it. Luckily I had my fold-up wagon for her to ride.This is the second pet carrier backpack I’ve owned where the strap broke, and I followed the weight requirement. Tried taking my first one to a luggage repair shop but they said they couldn’t fix it because it wouldn’t fit in the gap of their sewing machine.I wish Jansport would get into the pet carrier business. Their backpacks are the best in the world and have a lifetime warranty.I give this item 2 stars because I at least got to enjoy it for a little time, but I definitely would not recommend purchasing it. I suppose this is what I get for not spending a bit more than 30-ish dollars.tl;dr- The STRAPS… are CRAP.

Mein Kater auf dem weg zu seiner neuen Pflegefamilie hat es sichtlich genossen. Das erste Mal verwendet und er war sehr ruhig und hat nur bei starkem Wind angefangen etwas zu raunzen. Der Rucksack ist sehr robust und ich hatte Angst, dass Passanten angst haben, dass die Katze keine Luft bekommt oder es ihr zu heià wird. Habe deshalb einen Hinweis hingeklebt.Die Lüftungsschlitze/-löcher sorgen gut dafür die Luft im Rucksack nicht stehen zu lassen. Als weitere Hilfe habe ich in der Seitentasche einen kleinen USB-Ventilator reingepackt und auf niedrigste Einstellung laufen lassen.Wie es das Schicksal wollte, musste der kleine Nr. 1 und tat dies auch gleich im Rucksack. Entweder hat sich meine Sicherheitvorkehrung verschoben (ich habe die Tasche mit einer Windel ausgepolstert) oder der kleine hat einfach eine unglückliche Position gehabt. Das hab ich natürlich am Rücken gespürt und gerochen. Man sollte den unteren Teil definitiv etwas wasserdicht bearbeiten.
