Legitimately completely waterproof
Two new pups + nice velvet couch = disaster waiting to happen. Enter the waterproof blanket!We purchased this to prevent accidents on our furniture when introducing two small pups to our family, and it has absolutely functioned as expected. I wish I could say that all of their accidents have happened on the blanket (alas!) but those that have, have been completely kept off the couch. The liquid pools on the surface and does not pass through the blanket at all. Do read the dimensions and keep in mind that this is not a person-sized blanket, but is soft, comfortable, and convenient for use with your pets. Best of all, in our experience, it is every bit as 100% waterproof as advertised, and yet was a breeze to throw in the wash.I would recommend purchasing it for use on your couch/bed if you have older incontinent dogs or new puppies, but do keep in mind that the liquid will run off rather than absorb so it probably isn’t the best choice for crating as your pet would be easily soiled from lying in the puddle.

Best cat waterproof blanket
I’m a retired RN, my husband is a farmer..when I retired, I needed and wanted to do something meaningful. We started humanely trapping our barn cats and any cats that were feral, homeless, dropped off on our farm..we spayed/neutered them all, provided vaccines medical attention etc. we now provide love, shelter, safety, medical care to around 38 feral/barn cats and we have 5 indoor rescues.In the 14 yrs I have been doing this I have ordered countless # of pee proof cat blankets. Hundreds of $ spent trying to find a water proof material but a blanket that is very soft, snuggly, warm etc. I have many blankets none I would say r what I have been looking for, but I settled..I came across these blankets about 2 weeks ago..read reviews researched it like I have done for all the other blankets. After being disappointed time and time again, I held no expectations for these.Well, FINALLY!!! These r the softest, most warm and comforting cat blankets!! As you can see litte Puck loves her new blanket!!I ordered 2 a pink one and the pictured tan one. These r medium sized and it is folded in 1/2 in her cat stand (sizes r amazing). They washed up perfect absolutely no shedding. I highly recommend these.. they r so reasonably.priced as well!!2 weeks later and I ordered another one!! All 5 cats love them!!

As soon as I put the blanket down for my dog she was laying on it. The blanket is not very thick but it is soft. Itâs just the right size for her bed and seems well made.

Best waterproof blanket Iâve tried.
I wish it was a little bigger so it would hang over the sides of the bed but it perfectly covers the top of a queen. I use this on top of my blanket cause there snow on the ground 6 months a year and my dog likes to roll in it. She also likes to use my bed to dry off/attack after a bath. It is soft but in that weird way that slightly catches on my rough hands. Anyone who does construction knows what I mean. If you donât, do not worry, itâll feel soft. Even then itâs not as bad as some gloves Iâve used, but noticeable. Itâs soft enough for me or a dog but itâs not an ultra soft throw if thatâs what you are looking for. Feels soft on my forearm and Iâd be comfortable wrapping In this on the couch.I like it better then the other waterproof dog blankets Iâve seen, the fuzziness adds a little something. Makes it more comfortable and I prefer the looks of it. I havenât tested with water but if I hold it over my mouth, I canât exhale through it so Iâm sure it is waterproof. I got this to keep my bed dry under my dog and give extra warmth so waterproofing isnât that imperative. It is very warm. May be good it doesnât hang over the sides of the bed. This blanket doesnât seem to have that slight crinkle other waterproof blankets Iâve tried had, maybe the fuzziness helps. Overall very happy with it. I washed it on cold/low and it held up very well. As someone else pointed out, the lint catcher wasnât full of blanket debris. This was definitely worth the price I paid as compared to other waterproof blankets.

I love the softness and blue color of this blanket. I got the smallest size and it is plenty big enough to fit in my dogâs bed with room to spare. The blanket feels warm and my little Yorkie seems to enjoy it very much, Thank you!

One of the first things I purchased before bringing my puppy home. He is still learning to be crate trained, and these blankets (I now have two of them) definitely come in handy so I donât have to wash everything in his crate! Love that I can just put it in the washer & dryer. Need to purchase more!

Great bedcovers!
I have three of these now–my original throw and two queen-sized covers for my beds. I do a lot of cat rescue and these are perfect to allow kittens to climb the bed in the guest room and be the messy little demons that they are without destroying my bedding. In my bedroom, they prevent my resident cats from sleeping (and shedding) directly onto my pillows.I love how soft and cozy they are.. and the cats all like to kneed on them. They are waterproof, which helps with messy kittens and cats who are relearning how to live indoors. The only downside is they are very hard to dry… I think it’s because the waterproof lining prevents easy drying on the inside of the blanket while the fluffy outside makes my dryer sensor assume that the blanket is dry.So far, they have won extremely well–but if they ever wear out, I would definitely buy more.

I donât leave reviews until Iâve had a chance to really put the item to the test, and I can honestly say after having this blanket for 1.5 years, itâs saved our furniture and beds more times then I can count! These blankets are soft, wash well, and truly are waterproof. We have a dog with bladder issues and a brand new couchâ¦. And our couch still looks brand new because of these. They take a bit longer to dry in the dryer, but itâs not any different than any other large blanket. Iâve washed these blankets 100x already if not more and they are still doing their job. HIGHLY recommend.

This blanket is a huge hit with both me and my very old man cat. He took to it immediately which was an added bonus. He sleeps in it almost all of the time now. It’s wonderfully fluffy and soft on both sides, and while you can feel the slippery waterproof layer in between the fluffy exterior it makes no noise, and doesn’t affect how the blanket feels when you’re curled in it. The fact that it’s huge (I bought the queen size) is fantastic, I don’t have to fight for space under it with my cat. I can confirm it is waterproof, which is fantastic – I was worried it was all talk. While the spill was small, it didn’t soak through at all despite the fact that it sat for a unknown time (woke up to random wet spot on one side). It’s incredibly warm, and is holding up well to constant kneeding, and drooling. Following the specific wash instructions has kept it fluffy and cuddly, and waterproof. I cannot recommend this blanket enough. It gives me confidence to leave my old man alone in my place without fear of returning to soiled furniture so long as this blanket is out.EDIT: I’ve had this blanket for almost 2 years now, and wanted to weigh in again. My old man cat’s incontinence has gotten worse, and I could not be more thankful for this blanket. He has multiple accidents during the night, and only once has the liquid seeped through. The time that it did was because he laid on the spot for several hours, so adding pressure will let a small amount of liquid through. I’ve washed this blanket every second day for the last 6 months, according to the tag (cool water wash, tumble dry low), and it has retained it’s waterproofing marvelously. It still works wonders, and is still really snuggly. I could not recommend this blanket more.
