Sturdy, durable, better than expected!
I am so happy with this cat scratcher and so are my boys! I have 2 large black cats (12 & 17 pounds respectively) and this simple wood design was able to support both of them at the same time. We have had a problem with the bigger boy wanting to scratch furniture and this seems to have stopped that need entirely. He has found himself a new scratcher/ bed in this. The wood is surprisingly good quality for particle board-like material and can definitely be painted if you want a different color. For the price paid, I am very satisfied with the product and it definitely surpassed my expectations considering how inexpensive it was. Definitely recommend if you want a more cost-effective item for your kitty.My one complaint is that the screwdriver hurt my hand a little bit when putting together, but overall, it was pretty easy to construct and the instructions were easy to follow.

My cat went crazy for this! Bet itâs because of the catnipð¹. Assembly is simple but requires some strength. Itâs sturdy and perfect for larger cats. Plus, it looks great and matches perfectly with my oak sofa chair.

Great scratching post
My cat absolutely loves this cat scratcher, I have purchased another to replace her other ones. It is not the most durable, it looks worn down already but I cannot complain too much since she is using it so much and not scratching furniture. The size is also perfect for her, she is an 8lb DSH for reference.

My cats wonât scratch it
Itâs good quality and everything, but as far as my catâs scratching it, one of my catâs nails got stuck in it several times and the other 2 donât even try to scratch it. I thought I would like this one better because it doesnât make a mess with cardboard pieces like most other scratchers do but they will only sit on it and not scratch it. So it ended up being pointless for me to buy. Would just stick to a traditional cardboard one instead.

My senior cat took to sisal scratcher instantly
11/21/24Itâs always a gamble with cats for what theyâre gonna like and not like, but got lucky with this one. I got the sisal scratcher and my cat just loves it. She went to it instantly, and just canât stay off of it. Nice quality product. Iâm hoping it will hold up.

Sturdiness and quality!
The product is sturdy, is made from wood entirely giving a good support for the cats while they scratch, because it has wood boards under the scratching surface throughout. The quality of the scratcher is good, it took me like 15 minutes to assemble it by myself, no tools required other than the one that comes with it. The instructions were not so much clear for me, but was easy to figure it out. One of my cats loved it since the first time I assembled, though she only has been using the flat scratching surface, but having six cats, will be working with them to make them use to the curved scratching area as well. I will not gonna return the scratcher because the quality, and the wood boards to support the scratching area. And I did not got any reward or money for my review for the seller.

Not sturdy, my cats hate it
This was not easy to assemble, unmanned in many spots and needed to have screw holes created in some spots.Worse of all, the burlap-like scratching pad doesn’t have a backing, so it doesn’t feel sturdy, my cats won’t use it despite putting cat niip and treats on it.Now we just stub our toe on it as we pass the couch.

Looks nice and easy to put together. Cat doesnât like the material and wonât use it. Better off getting cardboard one for less money.
