Product works well under proper use
This is a very effective tool in training our dog. There are 3 different buttons. One that gives your dog a beeping warning. Second you press the vibration button to again warn them and finally the zapper! We only had to push that button on two seperate walks. Our dog now knows the beep is her warning to act like a good dog. There is a control for adjusting the amount of shock. This is really powerful so you must read directions so as to not injure your dog.

Excellent customer service!
Less than three months after I ordered this item, the hand-held transmitter stopped communicating with the receiver on the collar. The seller provided instructions on how to re-synch the two, but the routine didn’t work, even after several tries. The seller then replaced the item at no charge. I like the simplicity of the transmitter/receiver, the number of functions and the ability to set levels. And I appreciate the excellent customer service. As long as the replacement units work the way they’re intended, I’m a happy customer.

Works well
Seems to work well. We had a prior version of this that our dog seemed to respond to more but we lost the charger for it and had to get this one. I like that the collar has a separate button for each mode but both of the collars we received respond to the #2 setting and #1 is pointless. Good value for the cost and the range is good. The charge lasts over a week each since we only need minimal corrections. I also like that the size adjustment for the collar is a simple pull strap instead of the belt style our old one was. Seems to hold up well in the elements so far.

it does what i need it to do.
After the last collar i tried shocked my dog without my permission during a malfunction, i was super skeptical about buying another one. but my dog’s extra attitude and inability to heed my commands told me i needed to try again. so i went a bit higher in price and got this one. its simple design gives me faith that it wont malfunction (hasn’t yet and ive had it for quite a while). its easy to use and has power buttons on both the collar and hand held transmitter to ensure you dont accidentally trigger it to shock your dog or give false buzzes and beeps. the whole thing works fine my only gripe is the dial that controls both the vibrate and the shock at the same time, however since my dog responds to the beeping and vibrate as the final seconds in an angry parent’s countdown before a beating, i dont ever need to use the shock. overall rating: BUY THIS ONE . unless you walk a huge bull mastiff and need something stronger.

stops working very quickly
Have purchased 3 of these for training my dog. 1st one about 4 years ago lasted about 1-2 years with occasional use after initial 3 month training period. 2nd one I purchased last less than a few months. Third one I purchased last year before a trip (used for 3 days) took it back out of box for same trip this year, will not charge or even light up. Tried multiple chargers, etc.. Basically was a good product I liked originally but 2 failures out of last 2 purchases seems like the quality is zero and its become a scam product.

Lasted 2 years
This was my third such collar for my dog. I came back here to see how long it lasted. It was almost 2 years exactly. It seems like each one I buy is less reliable than the last. In the end it went into a permanent vibrate mode after getting wet. I was washing my car and my dog loves the water. He was playing in the water than came and sat right next to me. It took a minute for me to realize his collar was vibrating. I’m just glad it wasn’t shocking him. Overall, it worked as intended. Like I said, this is my third collar (not specifically this collar) so at this point I generally only use the beep and vibrate as my dog is trained to these. He knows what’s next if he doesn’t comply. Towards the end the battery would only last a week and before ‘the incident’ only lasted a few days. I should have known something was up. Oh well, on to the fourth one.

This is awesome
Our dog used to have a real issue with the neighbors dogs and it was tearing up our grass and way to much of a disturbance to the neighbors. We use this as a training collar only and have NEVER used the shock part of the collar.Just the vibration set to 50 gives her enough of a surprise to make her come running back to us for comfort. Now, all we have to do is put it on her before she goes outside and she leaves the neighbors dog alone. We don’t even need the vibration part. Sometimes I use the beep tone to get her attention when she ignores me.Overall good product.

This product is the worst. Used twice and the remote stopped working altogether. The battery wonât keep its charge and even when itâs turned on, it doesnât work at all. Iâm very disappointed in this product.
