Review for: Plano Field Box – Style Name: Large Camo Swirl Field Box With Lift Out TrayI found this to be a very study box that appears to have good water resistance. The plastic is strong, thick, and not brittle. One thing that is not so strong is the hinges for the lid over the small storage tray on top of the box. Don’t try opening the box by this lid, it will come right off. But, it goes back on easily. Latch feels good and secure, handle is comfortable.I used this box to make a solar battery box. Had enough space for a Eco-Worthy 30AH battery, Eco-Worthy 12V 20A DC to DC and solar charger, meters and outlets, wifi temperature monitor, and plenty of space to spare for solar cable storage. The plastic is strong, easy to drill and cut with a saber saw.At first I did not like the little pop open storage on the top thinking it would take up needed internal space but it worked great to put a digital amp meter, cell phone charge ports with volt meter, and coaxial 5.5mm D.C. outlets. Plus I was able to make a cutout to allow the charger front panel to be viewed, all of which is covered in case of rain. “Cigarette lighter” outlets and charging port for connection to 12V truck electrical system are on the side of the box.

Great box for hunting or fishing
This is my 5th one of the tray version of this box I love them. 3 of them are for ammunition and the other 2 are Used for terminal tackle storage for saltwater fishing. The top storage is great for easy access to a couple small items. Highly recommend this box. Shipping was a little slow and delayed but I am still happy with the product.

Plano, a cool very versatile box
You will like the size and features of this Plano Field Box. I use mine strictly for the storage of ammunition and supplies. It has good capacity, a nice seal all the way around, a very secure latching system, and a nice storage section on top…so you don’t have to open the lid to reach inside for any smaller items needed. The handle is quite thick for easier carrying and very sturdy. The entire box is very sturdy. It can also be used for fishing gear storage and transport to your favorite fishing hole. It would make a nice tool box too. No matter what your use, it is a great value and a great box. Yes, I would recommend this to a family member or a friend for sure!!

I’m actually really liking this storage container. Water-resistant (not water-proof), pretty tough, solid main compartment latch…10 bucks (price I paid). What’s not to love? The plastic coloration is a little weird, but 10 bucks…you can’t beat it for the money.UPDATE:Still loving this box. However, if you’re looking for a secure container you might need something else. Even with a lock in place, the top bends in such a way as to still allow access to the inside contents. If you’re looking for a cheap, great little storage box and you’re not too concerned about security, then this is still a great storage box at a great price.

These are great and durable boxes for any use: tool box, fishing gear, fish finder, any electronics/optics, first aid supplies, a drone box, survival kit for vehicle, pet food, a big snack box lol, hobby supplies, ammo… They can be stacked, or stacked on, without reasonable fear of damage, for storage and transport. They can even stand in as a Christmas stocking for select relatives lol. Weather resistant, but not waterproof. I tend to buy them in the off season when on sale.
