product was open and bars were missing
I received the box and it was open. There were supposed to be 5 bars in the box, but there were only 3. Can’t blame the delivery guy because the outside mailing envelope was completely undamaged. Whoever packed the envelope must have seen that the box was torn open. It was obvious. The product tastes fine, but way too expensive for just 3 bars.

Horrible taste
It tastes like wet cardboard and itâs not as pretty as the pic. I know that doesnât matter but I was looking for a pretty pink bar and itâs a pale and sick looking pink lol. Seriously though. Yuck. It is a healthy option snack and I didnât waste them. Convenient to have on the go.

Bad taste
I really wanted to like these because of the price, nutrition, and convenience. I saw the bad reviews but I’m not all that picky about protein bars, so I expected that these wouldn’t be great but would be good enough. I thought they would be perfect to throw in my purse to have a convenient portable snack when needed because the macros are good and this doesn’t seem like the kind of bar that would melt easily. I ate one when I had a long wait for an appointment and didn’t like it but thought I’d give it another try before reviewing. I ate another one and definitely don’t like these. The flavor itself isn’t terrible but the bar left a bad aftertaste, which I definitely don’t want when I’m out. Definitely the worst protein bar that I’ve eaten and I doubt I’ll buy it again. It’s too bad because everything else about it is fine – I like the size, the portability, and the nutrition content but I just don’t want that aftertaste.

I ove these things
I’m not a sweet eater but now and again like something after a meal – fruit doesn’t always do it. Tried these. I know they are supposed to be in place of a meal (how can one be so disciplined?) but I eat them as a treat AFTER a meal! They were delayed for shipment and then when they finally did arrive one box was a bit battered. Since I live in Florida I was worried they’d be all melted etc. but they tasted fine. I can’t imagine they’d be enough to eat instead of a meal but for my purposes they are excellent.

Yuck
Unfortunately, these are awful. I thought the price was OK and ordered two boxes. I figured they’d at least be pretty good, strawberry is hard to get wrong but they sure managed it here. Unpleasantly chewy and dry at the same time. Strawberry flavor is minimal. Leaves an aftertaste and coats the mouth and throat with a general yuck factor. Can’t win them all but you get what you pay for. I’m going to eat them anyway and pretend it’s needed medicine because I can’t stand food waste – or wasting my money. You want a genuinely good protein bar? Get Atkins. Strawberry and lemon are terrific. Bummed that these are awful. Spare yourself – look elsewhere.
