This powder is extremely fine and smells fantastic! I make a lot of cold process soaps and I like to use natural additives like this powder in my recipes whenever I can. I just gave away my last sandalwood bar recently and when I re-make the recipe I am going to include this powder. It smells like authentic sandalwood, not quite as strong as the essential oil form (that was expected), but it is heavenly and woody. It is masculine and fresh and the very fine ground of the powder will easily blend into my soaps. Its a pretty large bag (3.5oz) so I might use it for other purposes too like skincare products or try to make an oil infusion and see how it comes out because sandalwood has so many positive skin benefits. It has a really nice orangy-reddish color, about the same color as the kraft bag it arrives in. This is a great value for a great product!
