Love it
I recently started feeding my cat Purina Fancy Feast Medleys, and I am beyond impressed! From the moment I opened the can, the rich aroma caught my attention, and my cat couldn’t wait to try it. I have been buying fancy feast from Purina for a very long time! I love the variety packs and so does my cat! She will refuse the same flavor two days in a row! If you’ve always had a dog who will eat the same thing every day and now that you’re older, you’ve switched to a cat for comfort petting, please take it from a 70 yr cat owner vet! Cats want variety! And this price is terrific!

My cat likes it; high protein and low carb
My cat didnât love the vet subscription special diet food and I needed a low carb, high protein one for her. She doesnât even like pates all that much except if they are soft enough (not the firm gelatinous kind.) I like this food for her. Itâs more appropriate for cats ingredient wise without grains and fillers and unknown by-products or soy and I can easily break it up with a spoon for her plus I swish a little water in the can to get the juices and add that too. She happily eats a whole can twice a day as her meals. The box it comes in is also nice for storage- itâs light and thin and visually pleasant enough that I just keep them in it. It folds well for recycling too. I give a few varieties of the naturals flavors to mix it up for her. I recommend getting them at the store as singles first if your cat has strong preferences because she wouldnât eat certain flavors of it so I only got cases of what I knew she liked. She is doing well with this food and I am happy to use subscribe and save for it. It costs about $65 a month to feed her this which at this time(Spring 2024) is a good value. A can is close to 100 kcals a day which is higher than the gravy foods she used to eat and close to the vet suggested amount for her. I think this is a good canned option. It also seems fresh. The fish flavored smell is noticeably fishy. It doesnât cause fishy breathe. My cats breathe is undetectable to me when she eats this. This is probably the closet to a raw fed diet of any canned cat food weâve tried both in the limited ingredients and the positive results of her wellbeing. I recommend and will continue to feed it.Edit: I am on my last case before my next shipment and found that multiple of the lower level cans are really dented. I wouldnât knowingly purchase dented cans like these, especially not with the seal busted which I wonât feed, so I will be in touch with Amazon about this. There wasnât anything noticeable from the external packaging. The box is very thin so it could be from shipping and the plastic wrapped around it covers it so you canât see. Itâs rare to see such dented cans of food in store. Still recommend the food, assuming this was a one time thing and shipments henceforth are all fine and useable.

Must be a good flavor!
These must taste fantastic because my cat goes absolutely crazy for these cans of food! This is by far her favorite brand and Favorite variety. The only reason that Iâve knocked off two stars is because the cans are small and theyâre very expensive. I can get larger cans in the same quantity or twice as many cans for the same price of another brand. And Iâm not talking about bottom shelf junk brands either. The portion size in these cans is not enough for one feeding for my cat so I have to feed about one and a quarter cans to one and a half cans. That makes these cans extremely expensive for our needs.

Both our cats favorite food
One of our cats is a very finieky eater. She prefers the dry food, but we want her to also eat wet food more than dry as it’s better for her health, especially the feline urinary tract. We already lost 1 cat to a blocked urinary cat who ate only dry food. Don’t want that again. This is about the ONLY wet food and flavor she will eat.Cat 2 eats it all, but likes this best.Best flavor of this brand for my cats, plus better protein/carb/fat ratio than many other prominent name brands.

This wet cat food is a hit with my cats! They come running as soon as I open the can, and they absolutely devour it. The ingredients seem high-quality, and Iâve noticed their coats are shinier and healthier since switching to this food. Itâs also easy to portion out and doesnât have an overpowering smell like some other brands.

My three cats finally settled on this food.
After trying many flavors, my three cats finally settled on this one. My Vet suggested grain free foods, and I see a big difference in food being vomited. It has a bit of ‘juice’ in the can, so it’s not a real dry pate. One can is enough for 3 cats, as two cats only eat about a teaspoon, which is half a can. The other cat can easily scarf the other half. I was buying this at Chewy, but then they decided to limit my order to only 24 cans at a time. With Amazon, I can order more, which I appreciate.

Better ingredient list
Glad to see fancy feast has come out with a canned food with less unnecessary added ingredients. I feed outdoor strays that someone had abandoned when they moved. They had always been fed the original fancy feast varieties. It took a little while to adjust to this but now theyâre doing well and I feel better knowing youâre getting a higher quality food. The orange picky eater enjoys the tuna, while another likes the salmon over tuna and then the third is not picky at all, and weâll eat pretty much whatever I put out. All in all it works out I do recommend switching from the original fancy feast their more healthy version.
