The most dry cat food one can get for this price…trust me, I’ve researched over and over
Friskies is a well known brand of cat food. I feel comfortable buying Friskies but some picky eaters don’t love this particular dry food. I didn’t buy this for my indoor cats, however, whom are very picky eaters. I got it to feed three outdoor stays cats who started coming around about 1 year after the worst of the Covid outbreak. Unfortunately, many people got a lot of pets during Covid’s Quarantine period for various reasons and when things began to open again and they weren’t stuck indoors all the time, many people surrendered their pets or let them outdoors and didn’t let them back inside. It breaks my heart to say this but that is the time when I started noticing stray cats showing up so I couldn’t just let them starve. I began feeding them Friskies 5.5oz cans of fillets in gravy and found this dry food, for such a great price and in 16 pound bags with a brand name that I trust so I decided to get it and I alter between their wet and dry food. The outdoor cats still love it and they are no longer going hungry. I did a lot of price and weight comparing and this always came out as the best value. I’m grateful it’s available especially since pet food prices have gone up 50%-80% over the last 4 years.

It was light in weight,easy to put on a cup . It was very fresh and nice size for the cats to eat, it was good quality of a product ,the nutrition ingredients were okay, but my ferral cats would not eat it they prefer meow mix original.

Friskies dry cat food
The ingredients definitely aren’t top notch. I buy this to feed stray cats and community cats, along with canned cat food and they truly enjoy this. Crows have taken a liking to this dry food outside too. Sometimes I feed it to my own pet cats, mostly in the winter when heating bills are high and one has to watch their budget. I always feed both canned and dry to both outdoor and my own cats. The cats seem to tolerate it without any stomach issues. The value for the size of the bag is great also. The cost is 15.98 for this large bag. The food is fresh, never any damaged packages with Prime delivery. This Friskies dry cat food is a good economical choice to keep in rotation with their canned food. I’ll keep buying it.
