Does NOT appear to be moss agate
Iâve purchased this stone many times. I bought this particular piece as a gift and was do excited. Unfortunately, this looks nothing like moss agate. I get that itâs raw but it looks like driveway gravel. Totally opaque and not green. No sign of moss in the stone. The wire wrapping is chintzy. The stone is too large and heavy to be jewelry. This combination caused the stone to literally fall out of its setting the moment I opened it and held it up. It literally could not withstand gravity. Total disappointment. Now Iâll be scrambling like a maniac trying to find a replacement gift in time.

The stone is great but the string that holds it broke the 2nd day I wore it. I had to replace it with a stronger rope.

So I know that there will be colour variations, but what I received was a grey stone, not the warm coloured orangey peach one in the photo. So be careful when ordering sunstone. I will say that it was well made and the wire wrapping was tight and sufficient. I am returning this in exchange for something else.
