Quad lock is the best
At the time I had a large phone and the out front thing looked like my bike was more phone than bike. Instead, I got the mount that goes on the stem. Which is basically the same kind of mount with the same functionality, but on the stem my phone didn’t stick out like a sore thumb. IN any event, I used it for about 3 years and fell in love with it. It is an ingenious device. Great to carry a phone securely, wonderful for using the GPS on your phone, very secure. I can recommend quad lock. It’s a little pricey, but it’s worth it. A few weeks ago I fell over on the bike and the stem mount broke. Now I use a Garmin which comes with its own mount so I don’t need quad core anymore. But if you’re sitting on the fence, I say don’t hesitate to try it out.

Sturdy and fits larger bike handles
I’ve tried various phone holders for my bike but they were all too small. This one fits my larger bike frame and really locks my phone in. I don’t have to worry about it falling off.

Impressive
This thing is rock solid. The mount doesn’t move and there is no wobble in the phone. Really easy to attach and remove the phone. I also got the camera mount but haven’t tried it yet.

I purchased one of these for my road bike, then tried it on my mountain bike. It worked so well I bought a second one so I don’t have to move it back and forth. Also bought two car mounts. They are easy to use and very solid. On the down side they are somewhat expensive. For the price you would think they could ship a little faster but they take two weeks to deliver. Come on guys, it’s 2024 not 1980.

Great Mount, Didn’t Work for Me
This will probably work great for most smaller phones, or if your quadlock mount is centered on the back of your phone.For me, not so much. I think it’s because 1.) I have a bigger phone, iPhone 11, and 2.) My stick-on mount is toward the bottom of the phone. The standard spot is in the back center.The attaching and detaching worked great. I like the location of it on my bike. I think most people would be happy with this.In my case, I already had the “handlebar/stem mount” for one of my bikes, but I wanted this fancier out-front mount for my road bike. I’ve never had problems with my stem mount. I think it’s because it has a different attach/detach mechanism.With this Out Front Bike Mount, my phone popped off FOUR TIMES. Right onto the asphalt. Thankfully, my Otterbox case worked like a charm. But no matter how much I tightened the hex bolt, my phone kept popping off. I found myself biking more cautiously avoiding bumps, always worried my phone could pop off.I’ve returned this and have bought a second stem mount. It’s more secure, especially given my unconventional phone back-mount decision.

It was rated as one of the best mounts out there and for good reason. I have this mounted on my mountain bike. You might be able to find cheaper [made] mounts, but this one, paired with the adapter you put on your phone (which you need) is light weight, elegant, non-bulky, simple to use (even one handed) and holds your phone like a hot-damn! It does take a few tries to get the hang of the one-handed motion to get the phone on/off, but I’m not the brightest bulb in the pack, and even I got it after a few tries. There is a great video on it on YouTube from the company. It’s all part of a rather slick mounting system. You can get an adapter to attach an action camera (or headlight) to this little mount. I also splurged and got a mount for the car. The best mount I’ve had by far and this coming from someone that purchased a couple of those ‘cheap’ options which didn’t last, didn’t do the job and were simply not worth the “savings”. Invest in something well made. It’s better for you wallet in the long run.
