Actually works, doesn’t just mask pain
I was skeptical, but I gave this product a shot based on some of the reviews. It actually works. I couldn’t believe it. I’ve used topical things that just numb the cold sore, but I find those products to be essentially useless. So my most recent cold sore, I started applying this treatment as soon as I started to feel the cold sore forming. I used it 2-4 times a day, and the thing never even turned into a blister. Mine are usually big, painful, and unsightly. But this one never even got to that point. My husband never even noticed it. In my experience, this is the only topical product worth using.

i havenât had a cold sore in years. used to use spirit of camphor. it would burn the sore and leave a scab. it didnât spread and was the best i could find for the cold sore. this ointment doesnât sting. my cold sore didnât spread and i have no scab. i highly recommend it ðð¼

Cold sore are a bear! Lysine helps to sooth it. I don’t know that it helps heal it any faster. Taking oral lysine is probably going to help more in the long run. I have also found that putting oil of oregano directly on the cold sore helps immensely, as the oregano can kill viruses….but beware…it burns for a few minutes. I had a foot ball sized cold sore on my lip and the oregano helped get rid of it within a week. Usually it would take 2.5 weeks for it to clear up. That being said, I’m still in favor of the Lysine lip treatment as it does sooth the pain. I’m only giving 4 stars because I think it’s pretty pricey.

Got rid of my recurrent open cracks on corner of lips
I have had cracked dry skin on the corners of my lips on and off for several years. I got tested for b vitamin deficiency and I was fine. I put diluted tea tree oil on it for a time and that didnât help. It eventually went away but this time it came back and I got this product. I swear half a day in I noticed it stopped stinging. One day in I could tell it was improving. Two days in itâs almost gone and no pain left. I still donât know what it was but this thing seems to be getting rid of it, without having to wait to see dermatologist. Yay!

I just recently started getting these blisters on the side of my lip maybe since 2018.I would call out of work for a week or wear a mask to hide it because my lips are already a particular size and it looked like I got punched in the side of the mouth when it was at its peak. I seen it coming last Friday, ordered, by Monday I had this lysine at my door. By Wednesday night it was flat! Just a tad bit red with the tiniest scab. You can barely tell unless you’re really in my face. This is THEE BEST treatment I’ve come across, fast action, oniment that packs a major punch! I don’t even write reviews but I had to come and say, this really fixes the issue in HALF the time when used as directed. I hope this helps someone. ð©·

There wasn’t any information of what’s in it …on the tube has menthol as active ingredients not sure if it has lysone in it even lol. But we will see
