Nail strengthener that forms a protective barrier, prevents chipping, peeling and splitting of your nails. Instructions for use: Shake before use. Apply only to clean and dry nails. To start the treatment, apply a thin coat from the center of the nail down to the tip once a week. Let it dry and paint the nail with your favorite nail polish. After three applications, as the nail gets stronger, brush one thin coat covering the whole nail. Use once weekly. Protect the skin around the cuticles with cream. Caution: Can cause some discomfort on first use. If you feel pain, burning or persistent discomfort, remove it immediately from all nails and suspend its use. Avoid contact with cuticles and skin. Warning: Not meant for daily use. Keep out of reach of children. Keep away from heat and flames. Flammable. This product is formulated to be used once a week. Please note that, as is the case with any cosmetic product, excessive use can cause unwanted side effects. And again: if you haven’t used this product before, do not cover the whole nail with the strengthener on first use. As your nails get stronger from week to week you can slowly start to cover the whole nail. This is especially important if you have very thin or brittle nails.

Best nail hardener ever!
I am an ex-nail biter. My nails have always grown in very thin and peel off in layers. Iâve never been able to resist messing with them because itâs so uncomfortable for your nails to peel and bend at the tips! Could never even wear nail polish because it would just peel off with my nails. Pictures are my nails before QuÃmica Alemana, after two months of weekly use with no product on them, and then a close up of my nails with just a layer of QuÃmica Alemana. Not only does this stuff work and is easy to use, but itâs very shiny and looks even better than a regular clear coat if you just want a simple manicure. Although you CAN wear nail polish over it. Here is how I use it:Once weekly, I apply a thin layer on the tips of my nails, about 1/3 into the middle of my nail bed. After that dries, I apply a second layer over the entire nail. You can use it more frequently if you want, but Iâve found once weekly works just fine for me.Do be careful not to over-file your nails before use and DO NOT put it on too soon after removing acrylics, press-on nails, or anything similar because that can cause burning. If you have any injuries around your nails (cuts, etc) that can burn too.Iâve been using this for years and it really is a good product. I tell everyone about it because I get a lot of compliments on my nails now, something nail-biting 5-year-old me never would have thought would happen! Iâve always been insecure about how my nails look and this has increased my confidence and femininity so much. And I canât believe itâs so affordable!

This WORKS! I will tell you how I use it first..in case you don’t want to read further. I add several drops, I used maybe 5- 7 but I suggest starting lower to gauge your tolerance, to a bottle of another hardner. ATM it is Uña De Hierro by Arobell, which I highly recommend. No burning and my nails, which have always peeled and never grown much further than my fingertips, are super hard and finally growing!!! AND NO BURNING!!! Which is something that could very well have happened for me, because my nails are naturally quite thin. I just apply the mixes hardener as my base coat everytime I paint my nails. That is it. Hard nails…no burning. End of tutorial.Yes…it contains some things we don’t have in polish in the US…but that is WHY it WORKS. If they changed the formula, those of us for whom NOTHING works are screwed. They have already done that with many other products from Europe, etc. ( Eveline 8-1, etc). If they change this, I think I may cry because I don’t think the formula of Mavala would work for adding to polish…and NOTHING else works for me. I (and many others) need these ingredients in order to have hard nails. Are some people sensitive? Yes. If you are sensitive, STOP USING…..or try my tip above. Sitting there and typing out a scathing Amazon review because you had a reaction to ANYTHING is ridiculous. Sensitivity doesn’t mean a product should be pulled from the market. If that were the case, there would literally be nothing on the shelves. This product DOES come with a warning. You have been warned sensitivity can occur…just like anything else. So please don’t blame the product when you knew it could happen. Instead, try my tip and add a few drops to your fave hardener or clear polish and avoid the burn. Happy Hardening!!! 🙂

Definitely protects and helps prevent splitting/cracking nails. Downside is brush detaches from the top and makes it difficult to use.Have bought two bottles and will continue to use. My nails are genetically thin and brittle and they are, without doubt, much more healthy-looking after using this product. I have to keep applying as it doesn’t last very long, but that’s okay.

I bought this to help my nails heal and get stronger after years of gel manicures. My thumb and index finger nails are naturally thicker and less affected by gel manicures. My other nails, however, tend to get paper thin after using gel and are generally my weaker/thinner nails overall regardless of using gel or not.After reading the instructions and reviews I proceeded with caution. I first tested it out on my thicker nails and had no issues at all. It went on smoothly, dried quickly, with no pain or burning sensation that I had read about in other reviews, and my nails felt stronger after the first use.Feeling confident, two days later, I decided to try it on my weaker/thinner nails. It seemed fine at first, but as the polish began to dry more and more I started feeling the burning and throbbing that I had read from other reviewers. After 20 minutes the burning sensation got worse and I grabbed my bottle of acetone and removed it. The burning feeling stopped within a few minutes after removal but my nail beds felt sore and bruised and still throbbed the next day. My thumbs and index fingers, still felt fine. The instructions warn about use if you have thin or damaged nails. TRUST the instructions and trust the process. I wonât be using it on my damaged thin nails again until they have more healing time from my years of gel manicures but Iâm still giving the product 4 stars because if youâre using it following the directions for thin nails it works very well. My thumbs and index fingers are very happy but their immediate neighbors (middle finger, ring finger, and pinky finger) have all decided that middle finger is speaking for all three of them. Read the instructions and play by the rules and youâll be fine.
