Gets the good ones
This thing just continues to produce for me unlike any other lure this year. I walk it on the surface slowly in between lily pads beds and near stream outflows in the river. Iâve caught mid size largemouth, Big smallmouth, and Small and mid size striped bass with this lure along with an occasional larger pickerel. Has held up over 40 catches and is still going. I ordered the next size up and the next size down also and will review those when I get them. This is a great topwater bait for open water.

I had it!!! But then I lost it.
Just got it the other day and fished with it this past Saturday break of dawn in a mouth of a slough type area of Lake Palestine Reservoir near Chandler, Texas. A Large fish hit it and was reeling it in and got it top of water near the boat and didn’t recognize the fish. I thought it was a HUGE bass until I got it close and it’s head and mouth looked like a catfish minus the whiskers and coloration. Didn’t have my net out and it’s teeth cut my line as it flounced one last time. Grinnel/Bowfin I found out later. Dang…got to order another one.

Recommended by the Fish Whisperer and a great lure!
This lure is excellent. it was recommended to me by a guy they call the ‘Fish Whisperer’ because he is a master! But you can’t just throw the lure in the water and wait for dinner to arrive on your line. You still need technique and patience. That said, i ha’ve caught a lot of fish with this lure, which is a huge improvement over years past.i highly recommend it. i have caught several 3-4 pound small and large mouth bass ranging from 13 to 16 inches long and countless Rock Bass. This lure has worked its magic for many visitors to our lake house so i am confident you’ll like it.

Only lure that worked
Went to Canada in May while the water is still very cold. This was the only hard plastic that worked. Caught a pike with it.

Bought this and a cheaper look-a-like. The cheaper one was garbage – kept rolling onto its side, and swimming almost sideways, and stayed at the surface. The Rapala one was perfect! Only problem with Rapala – if you lose the lure, it is costl!
