Dogs love it
Product Came frozen but, my concern is that The dry ice had evaporated that the product was shipped with and there was NONE in the box on delivery……. thankfully with rolls being inside a Styrofoam insulated box, the rolls stayed frozen even though no dry ice was present on delivery…. on their journey to the West Coast. The outside cardboard box was damp with condensation…… and might have fallen apart if it was traveling another day… Maybe that needs to be addressed…..The product is great! Looks fresh and smells good. Dogs love it.

I’ve been buying from raw paws for over a year. I am completely satisfied with all aspects of the process.Most importantly, my dogs love the products and their overall health has improved significantly. Their coats are healthier, they don’t suffer from gas or allergies.Shipping is fast and efficient. They plan for extra delays and hot weather. The product always arrives frozen solid and packed in a styrofoam cooler with packing peanuts and dry ice.Customer service is always professional and friendly. I haven’t had a problem with this company but I have had a couple of questions which customer service has answered almost immediately.I have 2 little dogs, one is 40 pounds and the other is less than 10 pounds. They really don’t like to have to eat 100% raw food so we compromise. I half cook a roll to which I add a cup of so of fresh veggies,2 poached eggs, a half cup or so of wild rice and supplements. I add this to a one pound roll of meat and it lasts about 2 days. So, this may seem costly initially but it does even out. I justify it by day ng what I spend on quality food I don’t have to spend at the vet.I am extremely happy with raw paws and their products. I would happily recommend them.

New recipe is making my dog and cat sick (Update – company called me to make it right immediately)
Update: The company quickly called me to send me a replacement to this shipment. They are sending a substitute order of salmon until I vet whether it’s just my pet’s sensitivities to the chicken blend’s moisture content in this batch or not. They are a small outfit so the moisture consistency may vary a little. I understand that. Them calling me to explain what might be going on is very helpful. I really appreciate it. I’ll add to these notes once I learn what the problem is on my end.(original review) I ordered this last batch and my pets won’t eat it anymore. Whatever they did to the recipe to cut costs is making them sick. Why do ‘quality engineers’ have to get involved and ruin every good product after a year of using it. 🙁 Quality engineers means the product will go to crap. Just like the first Sunchips. They were great, now they are GARBAGE. #boycottqualityengineerbackedproducts Crosby, Deming and Juran methods are ruining food and everything else.

My furry babies love it
It came very, very frozen. I usually bought beef green tripe from different company.My two 16 years old chihuahua girls with kidney issues loved it but after more research I learned that goat green tripe is the lowest in phosphorus. At first they new it was different, but they started eating it and like it. It smells of course but I got used to that smell 🙂 as long as it helps them.

My sphinx type cat (Bambino) loves the food. It was fresh with no odors when we were ready to use it. It came well packaged and was still completely frozen even after sitting on the front porch in the 90 degree weather for 3 hours.

Great raw food diet, just add vitamins.
We have ordered raw food for our Rottie several times from this company as we use it to supplement her raw diet. They always ship the food out quickly and we always receive it much faster than expected (today it was due Monday and we received it Friday!). Our typical raw company only ships on Mondays, so that puts us in a bind when we are close to being out. Our dog loves it and happily eats it up. The only thing is it may not be 100% balanced (saw something to that effect on the package) so vitamins need to be added, but that is no problem to do. If you’re looking for an easy way to feed your pet raw without having to grind it and calculate it yourself, this is it.

QUALITY HAS GONE WAY DOWN ***
IN THE LAST TWO YEARS I HAVE PLACED 21 ORDERS OF THE RAW PAWS PET FOOD. UNFORTUNATELY, THE LAST THREE ORDERS HAD ISSUES. THE FOOD WAS EITHER FREEZER BURNED OR THE MEAT HAD CHANGED. IT NO LONGER HAD THE COLOR AND THE MOISTURE WAS NOT THERE. I HAVE TWO GERMAN SHEPHERDS WHO ENJOYED THIS FOOD AND I WAS CONFIDENT FEEDING IT TO THEM BECAUSE AT FIRST THE LOOK, SMELL AND CONSISTENCY WAS SPOT ON BUT AS I MENTIONED, THE QUALITY HAS DIMINISHED. THIS FOOD IS NOT INEXPENSIVE AND AT THIS PRICE POINT I WAS FORCED TO LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR RAW FOOD FOR MY DOGS. I FEEL RESPONSIBLE TO INFORM OTHER POTENTIAL BUYERS BECAUSE I, MYSELF WOULD WANT THE SAME.
