This is a set of two boxes, for a total of 20 produce bags. PeakFresh produce bags remove ethylene gas to prolong the life and freshness of produce, more than doubling the life expectancy of fruits and vegetables. Most fruit and vegetables release ethylene gas after harvest. Exposure to this gas accelerates aging in fruit and vegetables (the expression one bad apple spoils the barrel comes from this process). Unlike ordinary plastic bags, PeakFresh produce bags have a natural mineral embedded in them to absorb ethylene, minimize moisture formation, and assist in maintaining Vitamin C levels. To use the produce bag, pre-cool warm fruit and vegetables in refrigerator before storing in bag. Use a separate bag for each type of produce. Produce to be stored should be fresh, dry, and undamaged. For produce being stored at room temperature, no pre-refrigeration is needed; simply put the produce straight into the bag. Expel air from the bag and close using the enclosed ties. Bags should be washed and dried thoroughly before re-use and can be re-used for up to two months. Keep bags away from fire and children.

New Addition to my Kitchen
These bags worked better than I thought. For the price, it’s really a great deal. You receive 2 sets of bags. These bags are great for extending life of your produce. My lettuce was kept well over a week. I wash lettuce, let sit so it can drain. I usually kind of wrap in paper towel so excess water can be absorbed. If you have trouble with keeping your produce fresh you need to try these. The bags are budget friendly compared to others on market and do the same great job. I now keep these accessible in my kitchen at all times.

Great lettuce keeper
These bags work really well in keeping veggies fresh and crisping lettuce. So glad I gave these a try as I’ve used other bags which didn’t work as well.

Great at preserving produce
Better than any other brand we’ve tried – great at preserving produce.

These bags do their job.
I use these for every type of produce I purchase. They really work. No lie. I’ve not tried competing brands, so I can’t gauge how they compare, but they save me money. And that’s good enough for me. All my produce keeps 3-4 times longer than when in regular plastic bags and this allows me to finish things before they go bad. I wash and re-use these bags multiple times.
The only negative I have is that holes sometimes open up in the seams of the bottom of some bags.

Vegetable keeper
Keeps vegetables and fruits from spoiling. I wash and reuse.

Money Savers
Having just two of us under the same roof after the kids are all grown and gone, I was finding myself throwing out fresh produce because we couldn’t consume it fast enough before it was past its prime. These bags truly Iive up to their reputation for keeping things fresh longer. I feel like I’m not wasting food or money anymore, and highly recommend them.

they work and keep our vegetables fresh
This is the third order I have received for these bags. They keep our vegetables nice and fresh. We use them for our block of cheese also.

Great for extending the life of veggies
Grow a large garden and use these for lots of things, from just keeping vegetables in until I can get them processed to storing carrots in instead of in sand or moss because they keep longer, better, & are less messy. For carrots, I put a paper towel on the bottom and don’t use the twist tie -just leave a little opening. Have probably only stored 100 lbs. this year but have done more in the past.
