These shirts fit well, wash easily, and come out looking great. They are so comfortable that my husband, who has always wanted cotton shirts in the past, has been wearing them every day.

They’re good, but not great. True to size. A v-neck tee should not be visible under a typical open collar shirt, like a golf shirt, so that was disappointing. Also, for a slim or athletic fit shirt, I expected more form fitting. I’m slim, but not “scrawny”. All that said, I wear them under body armor. As a wicking shirt, I have no complaints regarding their comfort or performance. A tighter fit at the waist and deeper “V” collar would have made them a significant value. I am unlikely to spend more money on this particular model or recommend them to co-workers who wear this style. The fit is just more important than the value.

This issue is particularly pronounced in the long-sleeve shirts, where the loose neck detracts significantly from the overall look and functionality. While the material quality is commendable for its performance attributes, the sizing inconsistencies are a major drawback. The short-sleeve V-necks fare slightly better in terms of fit but still have room for improvement.Additionally, I have noticed that after washing, the shirts lose their integrity and shape slightly, which diminishes their overall performance and appearance. In summary, while these Real Essentials shirts offer excellent breathability and moisture management, the fit issues, particularly with the neckline of the long-sleeve shirts, make them a questionable choice for those seeking a more tailored look.
