Economical selection of band strenghts
I did not know what strength of exercise band to choose, so I ordered this set. A physical therapist suggested using resistance bands to strengthen hip muscles and exercise hip joints. I am using the black band and my wife is using the red one for hip abduction and side stepping exercises. The set of 5 bands was not expensive, and I’m satisfied with the purchase even if I don’t find some new upper body exercises for the green, blue and yellow and they remain in the box.

Red band broke
Since purchasing these bands, I have only used the red band (rated heavy). If I put all of the time, back to back, that I’ve used this band, I would say that it would be a total of 3 hours. After about this length of that time, the red band broke. I never overstretched it while I used it. I first noticed what I would describe as a small bite taken out of it. Shortly after that discovery the band broke.
