Just buy a bidet
I was so excited to receive this only to be massively let down.
First, the grip on the bath tissue end is very weak. You have to keep experimenting with it and how much tissue you can reliably hold vs how much you need. Second, the release is inconveniently located at the tip of the other end and can’t be used effectively if your thumbs or fingers are compromised, making you have to use both hands. Third, you never feel completely clean after a bm.
Bottom line: pun intended- meh to use for No.1; disaster, time consuming, and inefficient for No. 2; just take a shower if you have No. 3.
The Romans used a sponge tied to a stick and salt water. Their idea was waaaaaaay better.

This is is best product of its type. Long enough. Paper sometimes sticks but gets it done.

Thank goodness for this
My Mom injured her back and was having difficulty doing many things including cleaning after using bathroom. My friend told me about this since it was helpful to her Mom. After showing her how to use she was able to use and keep herself clean. I mean I love my Mom but if she is able to do this herself it makes sense for her to do it.

Don’t let my 2 star rating deter you…
I dislike not being able to give this product a 5 star rating. It deserves 5 stars for usefulness and technical design. However, I am giving it 2 stars for material and assembly quality, as well as longevity of product. Within less than 24 hours of opening the box, the cover and spring had broken on the handle of the wiper. Since this doesn’t render the product unusable, I have chosen to keep it rather than return it.
I have purchased several of the Long Reach Comfort Wipe for my mother over the past several years from various retail outlets. None of the spring release mechanisms have lasted long-term. Some have lasted longer than others, but not having use of the spring-release mechanism has not deterred her from using the wiper. She loves the product.
Overall, the wiper is a great little personal hygiene helper in the bathroom from toileting to showering. The cost of $6.95 is very acceptable. Anything more than that, due to the poor quality is over priced. I did purchase 2 this time. Hopefully, by the time my mother needs a replacement, the quality of the product will have improved.
If you have physical difficulties with toileting and showering, I would still recommend The Long Reach Comfort Wipe.

not a factory reject like some other sellers have! Trust this seller!!!
AM a wheelchair user. This really helps me in toileting clean up. I’ve tried all the others, this one works best and is more reliable. Sturdier as well. Got more to stock up. However… This one works but won’t pop back up (the spring on the handle). You have to bring it back up manually. I don’t know what’s going on with this manufacturer (not the seller), but have had a rash of defective units lately. I ordered two more just to keep on hand and checked both of them when they arrived and everything is fine. But had two units bought from two different sellers and both were defective. I’d advise everyone to check it right away to make sure it’s in good working condition. Otherwise it’s a great product.

Awkward to use
Holder didn’t keep hold of tp, was almost impossible to maneuver. Very bulky to try to keep near the toilet.
Dakota_North –
This was extremely awkward, almost as awkward as doing without. And effective? No. I feel I wasted my money.
Maria –
Muy útil para personas operadas de la espalda que han perdido movilidad.
Jules –
I fractured my vertebrae and came home from hospital in a back brace after spending a considerable time in bed. The back brace restricted my movement and this implement became a necessity! I could not have managed without it. I did find it easier to wrap the wet toilet wipes around it rather than conventional loo roll.
VW –
It doesn’t work, the toilet paper doesn’t release, the head is to big to wipe your bottom.
Rachiered –
I bought this for someone with rheumatoid arthritis in their hands. On the day it arrived I tried to show them how to grip and release the loo roll. We hadnât even pressed the button more than 3 times when it broke. Really poorly manufactured. Itâs such a waste of everyoneâs time selling products that are not fit for purpose.
