Easy and intuitive for me on Bell Super 3R MIPS
I experimented with a few places to mount this. The Bell Super 3R MIPS has a full face shield – I mounted the mirror to the lower “jaw” portion of the helmet so the mirror rises from below and to the left of my field of view. Very easy to align and for me at least easy to use. Riding on an e-scooter with off-road tires on a paved road, vibration was not an issue. I will see how long it takes for me to completely adjust to this, but I find this a huge improvement when turning left in front of traffic.

Works great but a little loose.
After a couple of weeks the black rod didnât hold the weight of the mirror very well so I kept having to reposition it during my ride but a small amount of spr at on adhesive fixed that.

Nice mirror – not a great way to mount it
The positives for this item are: the mirror is a nice size and offers a good view of the road behind you. The negatives are: the mount is garbage and you’ll want to use tie wraps, string, or twisty-ties in addition to the mounting strap. Without help from whatever you add to secure it to your helmet, it flops around and is unstable while you ride. It would also have been nice if they had made the shaft telescopic, but I’d been happy if they had just made the mount better.

Great Product
I spend half my time in the US and half out of the country, and I have a bicycle in both countries. With this particular product, it is easy to detach and attach the bike helmet mirror. Several of the reviews mentioned that the mirror attachment wasn’t effective, but to the contrary, I found it very effective, and it will be easy for me to use this product in both countries.

Awesome
Finally no zip ties or tape works great on my new helmet with lights built in

Great for Commuting
I’ve been using a rear mirror on my helmet for ages and my wife decided she wanted one. But she wanted something beefier. This attaches to her helmet with ease and is easy to adjust and it stays put.She really likes it and feels safer on her bike already.

Does the job–Definitely recommend
I have been wanting to try out a helmet mirror ever since I got an e-bike. Because they go faster, I felt like I needed to be more aware of where cars are while I am riding, including behind me. I decided to go with this model because the mirror is a little bigger than a lot of them. It attacks nicely to my helmet, which is a standard vented bike helmet, using a rubber wrap tie through one of the vents. Not sure how you might do it if you have a solid helmet, so check that out. Basically the mount is an 11 inch flexible plastic stick with the mirror on one end and the mount/wrap on the other. You can move the stick closer or farther away based on your preferences. The round mirror is position-adjustable–it rotates and tilts so you can find your sweet spot. I have found that I like to see just a little of the edge of my face and helmet when stationary for best viewing position. From there you exercise a variety of head tilts to see what you want to see behind you. This is the part that is a little tricky and takes some getting used to but take my word for it, you will get the hang of it. At first it is a little disconcerting to have the mirror right there but I found with use I got to the point where I could mostly ignore it. When I want to use it, I find that I need to close my right eye momentarily and view the mirror with my left. My brain seems to like it that way best. A couple of things to watch out for, not the fault of the product in the least–when riding on particularly bumpy surfaces, the mirror jiggles a lot, because you are jiggling a lot. A bar end mirror has the same problem. Second, be aware of the position of the sun. A setting sun behind may reflect as a beam of bright light directly into your eye. (Found this out the hard way…) Finally, I have found that it can be hard to remember that something is sticking out nearly a foot in front of me and have knocked it into door frames and other unexpected obstacles. The easy fix for that is to take your helmet off unless you are riding, but I find that sometimes I leave it on if I am only stopping briefly and that’s when I get caught off guard. Over all I have adjusted pretty quickly to this handy safety device and feel safer on my bike as a result. I like it better than the bar end mirror I used to have, because it is easy to adjust on the fly with simple head movements. Highly recommend.
