The Earthy flavor and fragrance
After they are Hydrated save the broth and add it to Hollandaise Sauce! The Mushrooms work well over Soft Scrambled Eggs!!!Keep a jar in a dry place and never run out.

Great for soup
I made the most delicious soup simmering these in chicken broth with carrots, onions, celery and some Italian herbs. I just ordered my second jar for when Iâm craving soup again.

Not too flavorful, but good in most recipes
Roland Wild Forest Mushrooms are an OK assortment of wild mushrooms (Boletus, Black Fungus / Ear, Oyster and Porcini), but there’s nothing fancy or gourmet about them. The mushrooms taste quite good, but they aren’t as bursting with flavor as I would expect from an wild mushrooms assortment. They have a mild flavor, the Black Fungus were the most tasty out of the bunch. The size of the mushrooms is all over the place, there are big slices, small bits, even small flakes and dust of mushrooms.Once soaked in water they get quite soft, not a great chew factor (not even from the Black Fungus). Soaking them for 20 minutes it’s too much, they get mushy. 5 minutes, then lightly cooking them in a pan is more than enough. The mushroom get really big once hydrated. The leftover juices can be used for cooking other dishes (or just drinking as a soup). If you decide to cook the mushroom with the dish rather than re-hydrate (e.g. with the pasta or the rice), I would add them very late in the cooking process, they overcook easily. They’re OK in rice or pasta dishes, not good enough to top toast or a fancy dish.Somehow I was expecting the product to come in a glass jar, but it’s just plastic, and a thin lightweight one.

Product of 8 Countries
These mushrooms may be wonderful, but I tossed them out after reading the label’s information on sourcing, opening the jar and reading the Amazon reviews. The smell was not appealing. I simply did not feel comfortable eating them without knowing about the growing conditions in the various countries and regions.

Very easy and tasty
These mushrooms keep forever. They are very tasty, and a good value. A great way to elevate soups and casseroles.

Spelt like yummy mushrooms and tasted like it also!
I was scared to buy and yes container small but actually has alot more than you see! Dehydrated makes a lot more once cooked. Tasted and smelt amazing!
