Rounded tip pet scissors
I have not used them yet, but I will feel more confident trimming around my dog’s eyes with these scissors.

Great curved shears for at-home use
I have the curved variation of these scissors. I use them primariy to shape around my dog’s face and tail. He’s a poodle so we often try to achieve a “teddy-bear” look on him, with a fluffy round face. I was struggling to achieve the look with straight scissors, and these have helped a novice like me immensely. They have blunted ends which help a lot as my dog moves a lot during his groom, it gives me a bit more confidence that he will not injure himself accidentally when he squirms during his groom. I have small hands and the holes for the fingers do work for me, but I imagine if you have large or thick fingers it may be less comfortable to use. All in all these are a great addition to groom my miniature poodle at home, an I haven’t experienced any issues while using them either!

From a professional groomer: “Good for beginner use”
I bought these on a whim for my daughter who is a professional dog groomer. The price was right, and she had mentioned she’d like some more scissors to use at work so I sent these to her as a gift. She says, “they work fine, but they’re a little sticky when scissoring which doesn’t happen with the expensive ones. But, for the price, these are probably OK for a beginner or home-groomer to use. I wouldn’t recommend them for a professional groomer as an every day set. However, there were some things that I liked about them very much. The blade is small, which makes it really good for grooming small details. Also, they were really nice and sharp so they cut really well. The blunt tip for safety is also a good feature for anyone – pro or amateur.”

Good for long haired dogs
My dog is a long hair German shepherd. She has not been successful going to a groomers nor does she like being groomed at home either. We live in the woods and she gets tons of burrs in the summer and plays in the water, so her fur gets matted pretty easily. She has been okay with some home grooming, like a bath, which took us about two years to get her to take one more or less calmly. So I am the one who brushes out the burrs, and cuts the matts out regularly. I have to do the cutting in shifts because her level of tolerance is not high. I worry about nipping her because if I was to do that it would be the end of our work to actually allowing us to trim her fur. These scissors are sharp, they have blunted ends and they are curved. The handles have a glitter colored soft plastic ring in them which you can easily remove. So if you have smaller fingers like mine they fit good, but for larger fingers you can remove them for a more comfortable fit. These scissors make it much easier to trim her up without worrying as much about poking or nipping her. She is ultra sensitive with her tail, which gets so long it drags on the ground, but I am slowly making strides in trimming her tail as well. I am very happy with these scissors. I feel like this is the best pair of dog trimming scissors I have had so far.

Very nice grooming scissors!
We have three Shih-Tzus that require regular grooming. The groomer we used for years has recently quit and we have had trouble finding another one we like. They are either too expensive, or not quite what we wanted. So unfortunately we have had to begin grooming them ourselves. Obviously we don’t do as near a good of a job as a professional, but this breed of dog requires regular grooming. They aren’t show dogs but strictly beloved members of our family AKA pets.I wanted a good pair of scissors to trim them with that didn’t have sharp points on the ends of the blades. They can get squirmy sometimes and I’m always afraid of an accidental stab with a pointed pair of scissors.First of all, these scissors felt very well made. The rubberized grips feel nice and are no slip. The blades are obviously made from a decent metal and not lightweight or flimsy feeling.I have used them several times already and was very pleased with how well they did.I would highly recommend this product!

Beginner’s Essentials
This pair of scissors is useful for anyone who is new to grooming their dogs. It comes with a curved tip to prevent your pet from accidentally getting hurt when you’re trying to give them a trim. I liked the rubber grips that allow me to have steadier hands when I’m giving them a trim. The size is also just perfect, they’re not too big or too small. Give these a try!

Kind of Cheap
I’ve been trying to find a good pair of scissors to cut my dogs hair with, so I was hoping these would be sharp / hold up, but when I got them I noticed they seemed a little cheap. They were kind of loose to begin with, but after I tightened them up they worked pretty decent. But, they didn’t stay sharp for very long. I wasn’t even fully done cutting her and I could feel them becoming dull. Overall a little disappointed but I guess you get what you pay for.

Great for faces
These scissors worked great for rounding out his head and muzzle. They are very sharp and feel like they will last forever. I did add some oil to them in hopes of loosening them up a little bit because they are stiff to open. I might try loosening the screw the next time I use them. I just donât want to ruin them because they do work very well. They are similar to the scissors I have been using for five years. I believe they will last at least that long. These went straight into my grooming jar, which is saying a lot because my low quality ones go into a box for back up use only.
