Good Ammo Cans
For smaller magazines or loose ammunition, these little ammo cans are the perfect size for mobility and storage. I bought two: one for loose 5.56 rounds, the other for a handful of 9mm magazines. They work perfectly, just as I hoped they would. They seem sturdy and rugged enough to last a lifetime–if not abused. Why pay more for the a rusted and used metal can, when you can get the same item in a new, hard plastic container that provides the same benefits? I highly recommend these particular ammo cans.

Economical and Practical
This is a really decent storage option, being bot economical and practical for my needs. The attached pictures show 500 rounds of 5.56/223 ammo fitting comfortably inside, and I could probably fit another 50-100 rounds in if I needed to. I’m guessing I could likely get 300 rounds of 308 inside. The plastic seems sturdy enough to last without blatant abuse, there are 3 lock points in case you want to secure the can, and they are stackable. I’ll likely buy a few more for storing my reloads in various calibers.

It is an inexpensive small lockable box, suitable for keeping ammo and supplies. It is not heavy duty or large, but is sufficient, and the price was great. It is a supplement for my larger, heavy duty ammo boxes.

For me, I use it to store 9mm ammunition, but can see it having plenty of space for a few hours at the range – with reasonable tetris skills, this field box can easily fit some (50x) boxes of 9mm, a couple (25x) shotgun shells, a few (50x) boxes of .22, even some magazines.My reasons for buying multiple of these is a) the ease of locking, b) stacking ability, c) sturdiness, d) appropriate size for my uses (allows me to store a good portion of ammunition but not ALL of my ammo, thus I don’t need to constantly open a massive ammunition box to get some ammo.
