So far okay
I like that these are collapsible but it was really hard to get them to collapse again after they were first opened. Not sure about the non-stick part though as it’ll just depend on how wet the dough is. I do like that the rims are reinforced which makes transferring easier.

Love these bannetons, especially the wire reinforcement.
I’ve accumulated quite a sizeable assortment of different sizes of rattan/wicker bannetons as well as the silicone versions. Though I’ve only been making sourdough breads for a little more than two years and would never pretend to be an expert on the subject, in my opinion, the silicone baskets are superior to the traditional rattan/wicker versions, primarily because they can be washed in the dishwasher and mold will never be an issue on the silicone bannetons.Now, as to these specific baskets from Nuvloko, I find them to be just lovely. However, I don’t think the seller makes a big enough point of the fact that the rim of these silicone bannetons is reinforced with a sturdy wire, embedded in the silicone itself. I primarily bake batards (oval loaves) and a lot of my breads are rather high in hydration. There is a knack to working with high-hydration sourdough but one thing I’ve found is that my 1,000 +/- gram loaves tend to spread out at the top of a banneton that is not reinforced with wire because they are somewhat more “slack”. I had one wired banneton from another seller that I liked very much as I knew I needed to find at least a couple more. That’s when I found this assortment from nuvloko.The fact that both of these bannetons collapse down to about a 1″ thickness makes storage super easy.Only $18 (November 2024), this collection includes a 9″ reinforced round basket, a 10″ reinforced oval basket, three reusable liners, a dough whisk (those things are awesome!), a board scraper/dough cutter, a nice wood-handled lame with extra blades and a silicone brush. Not everything you need to create sourdough breads, but an excellent collection nonetheless.If you are making sourdough in a standard silicone banneton, I highly recommend you try one of these wire-reinforced baskets from Nuvloko and if you are a traditionalist using wicker/rattan baskets, I also recommend you give these a try. I think you’ll like them and this assortment of other tools will always be useful to add to your tool set.

Stained on the first use
I liked that these were sturdy, however they stained on the first use. I was able to put them in the oven on 450 and they were fine. They are really hard to get clean after you use them though. I have found that with most silicone items that go in the oven or air fryer.

Impressive Sourdough Kit with High-Quality Silicone Bannetons
Although I havenât had the chance to use these yet, my first impression of this sourdough kit is very positive. The silicone bannetons feel incredibly sturdy, with a metal ring at the top that adds excellent stability and structure. The silicone itself appears to be of great quality and seems built to last. The set also includes some extra sourdough tools, which are a nice added bonus. Iâll update my review after using them, but so far, Iâm very impressed!

Bakin’ in style
I recently decided to take up baking sourdough bread. it itâs not like other toes that I have worked with as it is more sticky. Therefore, it is a little bit more tricky to work with. So I wanted to try this set. I love the fact that the silicone collapses for ease of storage, but it also allows me to let the dough rise as well as bake in the same container. Unlike some of the sourdough bowls, these are easier to clean. I also love the addition of the extra finishing accessories. This is a wonderful set and I will be using it for lots ofbaking-.

The cleanup is a breeze with these since they are silicon and dishwasher safe. They are the same size as traditional bannetons with teh added advantage of being collapsable and take up less space when stored. One criticism is they didn’t come with traditions linen liners, which would be great becasue they would help absorb the excess moisture.

Great Set!
This is a good deal and a great set. Two bowls that are collapsible, a whisk, three bread covers, a tester tool, a butter spreader, and a bread slicer. Iâm impressed. The quality is good. Iâm hoping to learn how to make sourdough bread. Good gift!
