Yes, I know it isn’t on the listed uses, but this works great reaching down into our deep bath salt container and bringing up a full scoop. When not in use, the “hook” on the top of the handle hangs off the top of the shower glass, out of the way. Very happy with this purchase!

Just what I was looking for
I wanted a ladle for soups and stews cooked in our enamel soup pot. I was concerned that we would scratch the pot with our metal ladle so I decided to look one made of wood or bamboo. The price was good for this one and it is very attractive, so attractive, in fact, that I have it hanging in the kitchen instead of putting it away in a drawer. My husband thought our old metal ladle was fine but he was pleasantly surprised that he likes this better. It hold a good amount of soup/stew and it cleans easily.
