This is, in fact, my second additional purchase through Amazon of a Sourdough Starter kit, and my FIRST from ZUNMIAL. Truth be told I own four Sourdough Jars, each from a different manufacturer, and THIS ONE is the most satisfying to date. What sets Zunmial apart immediately, is the quality of the kit.Especially, the breathable, fabric jar cover. OUTSTANDING design, materials, and construction, are evident right out of the box. Of the four manufactured jar kits I own, the first had a cloth cover that was poorly made, and only lasted a couple of months. Two others used barely enough fabric and elastic gathered so tightly to fit the top of the jar, that getting a proper fit is a chore in itself.Gladly, ZUNMIAL understands that securing a cloth cover into place should NOT be a complicated task because a manufacturer is so predisposed in costs, materials, and quality of components, customers are left to wrestle an ill-fitting cloth cover in place.The material is woven from heavier gauge fibers, which outclass so many other kits with higher asking prices.The silicone jar spatula is very well made and very consistent quality among other competitors. The glass jar is a heavier grade, durable, and made for years of reliability. The temperature sticker exhibits solid adhesive properties, easily legible and reliable.The elastic fabric day/time/level feeding indicator is easy to understand, and very useful. The metal lid also secures quickly and conveniently.I paid twice as much for the Sourdough Starter Kit I ordered previous to this, but hands down, the ZUNMIAL Sourdough Starter Kit offers GREAT Quality, Value, and Reliability whether for home use, traveling, or as a gift.The ONLY upgrade I believe would make this kit markedly better would be a longer spatula. Depending on the consistency of your sourdough starter and the size of your hands (I am a male with hands that don’t always cooperate with me), you may find yourself needing a bit more leverage than the standard 9.5-inch silicone jar spatula to make quick, efficient use of your effort in stirring ingredients together.Great Product!!!
