It’s exactly like you remember
This brought me back to a better time, with better toys. I had a similar set in the late 70s. But this is tighter and cleaner and with a great carrying case. I thought the “holding putty” would be a gimmick, but it really does work to keep the pieces in place. It’s helps you avoid what i’ve always called “knuckle busters” where slipping just a tiny bit ruins an otherwise gorgeous design. I’m glad I bought it – and my kids are, also. It’s really a no brainer to have this for your kids or your days when you simply want to kill some time doing something from a time we’ve seem to forgotten.
