Great quality!
I use these on a few dogs daily for years. Many of the other brands just donât have the same quality. Some are âcoatedâ material and they start to fray and get nasty pretty fast. These are some type of synthetic material (like rubber, but not stretchy and not rubber as it would oxidize and turn to crap fast). These hold their shape, donât fray and even the reflective has help up well with dogs going through fields of brush and swimming often. Canât recommend the sport dog enough over the other brands Iâve tried. Worth the extra cost. Nice and durable, thick but not too thick. Bright orange color is great.

More durable than some brands
The band is very durable. Nylon woven fabric underneath, coated with a thick layer of plastic to make it waterproof. Thicker than cheaper brands. The reflective strip seems good quality too and very reflective. The hardware for the buckle is pretty good quality. The rivets look more durable than some brands.I wish that it had a D-ring instead of the square ring – I think that would work better for attaching a leash and walking. The square ring works too, but it doesn’t distribute pressure as well so I think it could break easier than a D-ring. And I’m wary of rivets breaking, so I’ve been looking for a collar with more rivets arranged side by side. This only has two rivets arranged in line, so if one breaks then there’s no more support.For the same price or less I can get a collar that has a wider band, more rivets and a D-ring, so this one is not as worth it. After looking through many collars I also found one very similar to this one for $5 – the quality isn’t quite as good, but you can’t beat that price.

Perfect Replacement – Sportdog 825 Collar
This item is a perfect direct replacement for the original collar (which I trimmed too short and the pup had another growth spurt I didn’t consider). The orange is very vibrant, and the reflective trim can be seen from far away. If you need a replacement, I highly recommend!

This collar is way better than the one that originally came with our Garmin farm and field training collar. We chose the orange as it’s easy to see when we have it on our black dog and we did choose not to trim it as she’s large but it looks like it can be trimmed without it falling apart. 100% satisfied.

Bought this to replace the collar on my dogs training vibrating collar. Much better than the nylon one it came with as the collar was unpredictable and didn’t always work due to lack of contact with the skin. This one is Brill. Collar stays in place and dog now doing good with recall.

Purchased the reflective collar for a replacement for the mini educator ecollar 3/4 inch collar. Collar fits the ecollar perfectly. The collar is not reflective like ad says tho. So donât waste your money in spending the extra couple dollars.
