Great product⦠but
I love this companies products! Clean and top quality. Unfortunately, I didnât pay attention and didnât realize that this is a sulfur product. I had a serious reaction to sulphur years ago and was told by my doctor not to take ANY sulfur products. So after taking these for several days I began having unbearable abdominal pain and had to stop taking them. I had to find a different product to take in place of this. I still highly recommend this companies products⦠and when I need something, I ALWAYS check to see if SR has it first. When I donât find what I need⦠I grudgingly look elsewhere for it⦠lol

I will continue to buy this NAC. It seems to be great quality. This might sound weird, but my burps taste like fresh grated citrus after taking these, so I actually enjoy these capsules because of the aftertaste.

NAC IS WHITE AND SULFURIC IN SMELL BY NATURE
I’ve been using NAC for several years – had tried a few different brands prior to switching to Sports Research – ALL have ALWAYS been white capsules (clear capsules filled with white product) and ALWAYS have a sulfuric smell, as that is inherent for NAC; In fact, the reason Sports Research puts a little yellow heart shaped lemon scented insert in each bottle is to help overcome some of that smell. I received a bottle with beige capsules and absolutely NO sulfuric smell whatsoever, so contacted Sports Research, and after a week of back & forth Emails (inclusive of sending them pics & the Lot # & Date from the bottom of the bottle) finally got a new bottle from them, only to receive another bottle from the exact same Lot # and Date, therefore with the exact same issues. I am now switching to another brand, of course, but if you have or receive a bottle with beige capsules, that have no sulfuric smell, I do not recommend using it, as there is something wrong and/or ineffective with the product. The Lot # is D121402, Exp Date Jan/2027
