PERFECT for Syncing Audio Tracks for Movie Production! Also good for animals…
Dog, Chicken, Hamster training clicker.. ok ok, BUT That is NOT what I bought this for!I make short movies, and some above average reviews to entertain myself and share what I learn. Sometimes I use more than one video camera and often record separate audio tracks to improve sound quality when I bring it all together in post-production.We have a “clapper”, you know, the board that shows scene, take, film Title etc… the “snap” that the board generates is so we can sync the audio tracks. BUT, that’s cumbersome and I don’t like always having to have that snap board. You can also clap your hands to create an audio spike which helps with syncing. Hand claps generate a broad audio-print and you can be a tad inaccurate that way.My FAVORITE method for syncing soundtracks between multiple cameras and audio recorders is this StarMark Clicker Dog Training System. This clicker is loud (loudest I could find) and produces a very clear and sharp “click” sound… to be specific two clicks… depression click and release click. What does that do? Well, it produces a very VERY sharp audio spike that allows me to align soundtracks with zero notable delay.Scene One… Click One Cycle… Scene Two… Click Two Cycles and so on! It’s perfect, it hangs around my neck and is always ready to go. So so simple and absolutely effective. Yes, yes, I can train my Boston Terrier, even though he’s now 9 years old, this clicker is easily heard by him and he rushes over in case there is a treat being offered… he doesn’t wait for commands though as he’s impatient and sits, lays down, rolls over.. covering all the bases to make sure he gets that treat and in short order.Yes, I also train my chickens… three clicks means some tomatoes are about to fly out the kitchen window and they come running! Ok, maybe that’s just a dinner bell substitute. But the sound carries across the yard and is distinctive. You get the picture, the clicker is loud and consistent, lightweight, with pretty good sound projection. All weather capable, nothing to rust. Bright colors so you can find it quickly in your camera bag or animal trainer kit.OH! Are you a scuba diver, or snorkel diver, do you sit in the boat while others explore the depths? YES, this clicker works underwater and is easily heard more than a hundred yards away. Divers can click to get each other’s attention, or a surface monitor can reach into the water and generate the signal for all divers and snorkelers to return to the boat, or warn of a surface hazard. WORKS UNDERWATER.I like it and will be using it each and every day. Probably a good idea to get two in case it goes missing, pretty sure my dog would chew it apart if he got ahold of it.I recommend this clicker without hesitation.. know someone who makes videos and needs to sync their audio? You’ll be their new hero if you get one of these for them.

Starmark Pro-Training Clicker: The Versatile Trainer
The Starmark Pro-Training Clicker is often sold as a dog training tool, but it’s not just for dogs. Trust me, it’s fantastic for any kind of training. For me, this clicker was a game-changer when it came to training not just dogs, but my three kitty pals. This versatile clicker has become super important in my pet training routine.First, let’s talk about the click. It has a clear and distinct sound that works really well. Having clear sound is a big deal when training pets. I used it to teach my cats to be cool about treats. They figured out that when they heard the clicker, they should take their time and expect a reward. It’s a simple method that works well for training your pets to be disciplined and patient, no matter the animal. Also, I used this clicker to make my cats respond better to their names. Whenever I called them, I got a click from the Starmark Pro-Training Clicker. Eventually, they started linking the sound with good attention. The cats are now more responsive and attentive, and they understand how we interact. You can easily bring this clicker anywhere you go. It’s small and lightweight, and it even has a hoop you can put on your keychain. You can bring it with you wherever you go, so it’s super convenient for training or gathering your pets in one place. To wrap it up, the Starmark Pro-Training Clicker is a handy tool for training all sorts of animals. It totally changed how I interact with my cats, teaching them to wait and respond better to what I say. The click sound tells you that you’re doing a good job. You won’t have any trouble bringing this clicker around. No matter what kind of pet you’re training, the Starmark Pro-Training Clicker is a must-have for more harmonious and disciplined interactions.

Nice sharp click, but lanyard not included
This is a great clicker in the sense that it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It has a nice sharp click and although I haven’t had it for that long, I do have a buddy who’s been using it everyday for several months now without any durability issues. I also like that the button sits inside of the casing a little bit so that it doesn’t stick out of your pocket like a third nipple on your thigh. However, I was a little bit disappointed that it didn’t come with a lanyard (not that I was deceived into thinking it came with one; the picture clearly shows it without a lanyard and that’s what you get). The only reason that this is an issue for me is because I like to use one hand to give signals with for commands and the other hand to hold all the treats while the clicker hangs from my wrist. While I was waiting for this clicker to arrive in the mail, I went to the local petco and bought one that came with a nice rubber bracelet and it was a little bit cheaper. However, that one has a button that sticks out a little more and the click doesn’t sound as sharp. So I’ll probably just take the bracelet from that and attach it to this StarMark clicker and keep the other one as a spare in my car or something.I suppose if you were really short on cash you could use a snapple bottle cap instead but a clicker is just more convenient to have since it’s got a big ol’ button that you won’t really fumble around with, letting you click right when you need to and it’s the same click every time.

    Clicker grabs pups attention
The clicker is light and fits easily in your pocket. The noise level has stayed the same after months of use. It’s hard quality plastic which makes it durable through out many clicks. It’s worth the value for the money.

    Nothing special
I was pleased with both the large and small Bob-a-lot feeders from starmark so I figured the same quality would carry over to their other products and bought this clicker and am pretty disappointed, it looks identical to the ones that are included with treat pouches or packs of 4 or more for the same price. It is the only clicker of this style that rattles so unless that’s some “feature” I’m unaware of then I’d say it’s in fact inferior to the other clickers of this style.

I use the clicker to call my cats in at mealtimes. As soon as they hear it they come shooting through the cat flap.It didnt take long to train my cats to respond to the click and they seem to be able to hear it from wherever the are, although initially I thought they wouldn’t hear it as it is quite a gentle sound but they never fail to arrive to the call.

Bon clicker.
